•Paris Bennett, The Show Must Go On: "Being with the band was a big experience to me, never being with a rock band before. I was able to pick a song that fits me, that's still rocky."

•Taylor Hicks, Crazy Little Thing Called Love: "You listen to a Queen song, it's really melodic and very powerful, and the dynamics (are) really cool."

I'm not a huge Taylor fan, but I think he has the potential to clean up with CLTCL...I wonder if the order listed is the performance order.

This show has the potential to be a disaster. Covering songs by Queen will prove to be very difficult for many of the contestants. Based on the song selection above I think Taylor looks to have the big night.

Bucky made a mistake. He will lose a share of female voters who are not familiar with the song and only hear the title.

Elliott's choice was make or break. He can look great if he can put some emotion in it without looking like he's trying to hard. Or he can look like he's trying too hard.

Taylor's choice was solid.

Taylor could see a big spike this week, as his song choice is safe(although the judges may point this out), and Kellie/Chris(less so)/Katharine all have car wreck potential. Should Bucky really be almost 50/50 to get voted off? I would think Paris, Ace, Elliott, and Bucky all have a legitimate chance.

Anyone see the stuff where Taylor wasn't able to get his first choice yet again? Kinda weird.


Also, does anyone know at what level the contestants can pick their own songs again? Final 4, 3? This is my first year of hardcore watching.

Of those 4 I'd say Bucky is the least likely to go home tomorrow. My guess is Elliott.

Yeah, I agree, at least to the point that he is no more likely to go than anyone else in that group. I've been shorting Bucky to go at 45ish on Tradesports over the past few days, and buying up Paris, Elliot, and Ace.

I'll take even odds on Pickler NOT being in bottom 3 if anyone wants it before the show (Somebody predicted her being in btm 3 on another thread)
