When is this gonna end. I'm sorry for all of you; this will not make matters better will it?? Whenever you deal in anything that's not on the up and up you always run the risk this can happen. I often wonder with all this slamming he has gotten on message boards etc is there a reason to settle with all of you as you have already tarnished him.

The problem is that he didn't want to pay from the very beginning. at that point nobody tarnished him. after PP cut him off, his first message to us was basically that we are screwed and he would keep all the money to himself.

One of the main goals of this sub forum is to ensure that affiliates are on the up and up and that they treat their clients appropriately.

Until this issue is resolved it will be discussed. You obviously did not lose money from him, so you may not fully understand the problem. I would hope that you would support causes that attempt to enforce affilates to not split and run.

I understand and am not condoning what he has done. When you get involved in an under the table deal this is the risk. I have been burned myself in the past in under the table deals; in the end it's the risk you take. Next time, go with a legimate rake deal and thru a good affiliate. Sometimes better to leave the past alone. I lost a dear friend who couldn't get over his past demons and things that were done to him, he took his own life. My 2 cents

What if Party were to say that they have decided that online poker in the US has been illegal over the past two years, and they were going to confiscate the money in all US accounts because it was earned "under the table"?
How would you feel?

RTR owes me about $1K if they honored the original agreement, $600ish under the "15% solution".

I still hold out hope that this guy will do the right thing. Call me an optimist in the human spirit.

From reading this thread all I got was... Reducetherake offered you guys party poker rakeback. Then party found out and shut them down. Leaving them unable to transfer money to you guys via Party Affiliate. So now this guy is sitting on top a pile of cash?

If they shutoff his trackers that means he doesn't how much he owes to each person. So in his position he's really in a [censored] situation. I say he should distribute it evenly even though some people would be mad. It's better than nothing. I say cut off some slack for that guy. And having people send in thier PT stats is a bad idea since they could be doctored.

A lot of people sent in their actual Hand Histories. As you can see by the poll in the other post, it's pretty obvious he had no intentions of paying anyone.

I guess I didn't explain this well enough. A lot of people sent in their hand histories for the month. He then loads them into Poker Tracker and find out their rake paid.

I sent in a screenshot because he told me it was ok. I trusted this guy and I thought he trusted me enough that a screen shot would be ok. I mean this [censored] IMed me drunk askin for girl advice. I thought we were cool, guess not.

people have offered him ways to get stats that are 100% legit and do not involve screenshots, or any doctorable crap. its not any work either not any moreso then when he was getting stats. we cant figure out why he wont choose that option. also, he is continued to be getting paid as well, his account is not shutdown......

I emailed Tim giving him an opportunity to make good after his final post on tracktherake.
Not hearing a peep from him, I decided to find out what his status with Party was. Here's the email I got from Party today:

Hi
Thanks for the email. We have had complaints against this affiliate from
many players. His deal with Party Gaming has been cancelled, because of the
fact that the affiliate was violating the terms and conditions of Party
Gaming Affiliate Agreement.
I would request you not to stop playing at Party Poker. If you have any
queries please don't hesitate to contact me.

Unfortunately, paying 0% for 1 month more than makes up for losing out on the cuts he gets from future months.

How much does an affiliate get, 30%? Considering he's paying out 27%, he's taking 3%. Meaning he kept 10 months' worth of profit for February (plus whatever he got for March). Considering the odds of his out-of-control size lasting that long, that was obviously the best deal for him. Add in the time value of money and he got about a year's worth of income in February, plus whatever he got in March.

Yea, I know he still made fistfuls of cash from his shenanigans over the last couple months, but the fact is that Party took away a revenue stream that would continue to be mega-profitable in the future. I seriously didn't expect them to do anything about the situation.

You have to consider that he probably had people under his affiliate account that weren't getting rakeback. He loses all that revenue too. I hope it was a lot, personally. The guy's obviously a scumbag.
