this sucks. empire had the softest games on the net for the last 4 monthes. i used to laugh at all the posts about how it was a rock garden. 30-60 thru 100-200 played about like party 3-6.

anyone knwo if you can open 10 or only 4 empire tables at a time? is 16-20 tabling (with a party client open) an option again?

Am I just stupid or does the lobby suck even worse than the new Party lobby. It looks like the same thing except without tournament filters. I really Enjoy! searching through all the running Stud/8 Speeds to find a registering NLHE Regular.

I'm trying to figure out if there's actually any advantage to playing on Empire now since I'm assuming the RB situation will be the same as it is on Party and whether or not they will continue bonuses now is questionable.

Party stopped paying affiliates after party bought empire, i see no reason to expect that they will resume.

appears they forgot to put the "filters" buttons onto the Empire client...
The "Tournament Filters" header just says "Welcome to EmpirePoker.com", but has no buttons

is there another way to access filters?

bad enough with limited filters, but no filters makes it impossible!

also, intertops is totally gone.
if you try to open the client, it just goes to party.

I know they haven' taccepted new signups for a while, but now you cant even play there...

I can't open Party and Empire at the same time, I guess it because the multi table tournaments are now the same as well.

It used to be just the cash games and sit-n-go's, now they actually are just the same site exactly (minus the wsop tournaments)

Check the message in your Tradal inbox...You may have received a one time payment terminating your affiliate agreement....Chump change compared to RB but more then we had yesterday...

my rb affiliate (morgant) claims empire terminated all affiliate agreements.

i'm taking his word because he's honest as far as i know and has always resolved my rb issues speedily.

Actually i just opened/updated empire client and can open/resize 12 ring game tables at a time. I thought the limit on party was 10.(haven't played there in a long time).

Yep. Nothing like a total of 5 tables of 200NL running, each with an average pot sizes under $20 for each one. Good thing you kept that secret.

I cannot see how this is a good thing. Before the split it was great bc you could get rb on empire and both party and empire had seperate bonuses. After the split empire was seemingly dying a slow death but there was still bonus and rb. Now that they are owned by the same company and have eliminated affiliate payments it's no different than having another account on Party. The only positive would be if empire has seperate bonuses than party. Oh and maybe the ability to 12 table for those very few that are good enough to do so.
