You'll see a scared 4 here fairly often, but not often enough that you shouldn't bet.

Definitely. His A8 doesn't look so hot anymore.

Edit: Disclaimer: I'm not saying I'd narrow his holding down to one possibility, but that's just typically what I see in this situation. Like others have said, a 4 is a good possibility here, but so are many 2nd pairs and small pocket pairs. It's still an easy raise.

I lost a bet, I don't think he would have capped that turn, but he would have called a 3 bet, and called the river. I moved to quickly, had I paused for a second instead of just reacting I would have gotten that bet in, lesson learned.
