DN is hilarious, but on a serious note, Brokeback mountain is a very good movie, and the chronicles of narnia is kind of mediocre (but still probably worthwhile if you like fantasy)

Give him a break. He dated Evelyn Ng back in the day, probably the most heterosexual thing a poker pro can do. So that should balance it out a little. Watching a movie about gay cowboys doesn't automatically make Danny gay. If he were to post something like "I was watching Surreal Life last night and I though Alexis was hot." then we should start worrying a little bit.

And to all you typical gay bashers out there, how do you know you aren't gay? Have you ever had gay sex? I have gay sex 2-3 times a week just to prove to myself that I don't like it and am not gay. It surprised me that the film was so critically acclaimed and I can only think that the fact we were dealing with gay cowboys was what made it seem shocking. The fact that the two dudes actually kiss in the movie. Whoopie, big deal.

It was a love story, but had it been about a straight couple I hardly think that if would have gotten so much attention. The acting was excellent, mind you, but the storyline just didn't grab me.

I'd have to agree that this post was in poor taste. Not necessarily because of the poster's fascination with Negreanu's sexuality, but by omitting the full text of Negreanu's comments he attempts(successfully I think) to instill in the mind of the reader the strong possibility that Negreanu is gay(not that there's anything wrong with that). So the casual reader who doesn't read the blog or a lot of this thread gets this impression, and I don't think that is really fair to Negreanu or the reader regardless how one views the importance of Daniel's sexuality.

Actually I read this thread briefly and I was left with the impression that DN might just be gay. Not a big deal what I think , but I do not appreciate being manipulated by this poster, he chose a small portion of Daniel's blog that fit the stereotype and it was a bit sneaky I think.

Wow! Never knew 2+2 was full of homophobs. Brokeback is actually a damn good movie. I was a little weirded out by it until after about the first 45 minutes, then you start to get over the awkward gayness of it and just accept it for what it is - a good movie revolving around a common theme in today's culture; homosexuality.

I haven't seen it yet, but I probably will. I reallty don't much understand what the big deal about it is though. I don't see how it could be half as shocking as The Crying Game and that is over ten years old. I saw that without having any idea about the twist, but I was mature enough to appreciate an interesting story. I may not be anymore, but I will still give Brokeback Mountain a try.
