hero calldown in blind battle
Villain seems tight and stuff hasn't done much. I feel like his line here is busted draw a lot. Agree?

Re: hero calldown in blind battle
Disagree, unless this guy is a total loose fish/idiot then i doubt this is a broken draw allin bluff on the river...
He might be playing 4x (45 maybe?) and think he's good but i'd say he's either got a better 6 or maybe flopped two pair and got counterfitted... either RR/get it in on the flop or give up. He's too short to be on a draw IMO. Results? |
Re: hero calldown in blind battle
I disagree, IMO the only hand u beat is a conuterfitted 2 pair. He was the BB so a flopped straight could be in his range. Pushing the flop seems a bit spewy to me since he's most likely only calling when ahead or with a flush draw and overs. I fold the turn given the fact you said you haven't seen him get out of line yet.

Re: hero calldown in blind battle
full pot it on the flop. river call is alright.
|
Re: hero calldown in blind battle
bump for a couple more before results?
|
Re: hero calldown in blind battle
Look at the size of his bets. His turn bet,and river shove really looks like weakness to me. I'm calling here. And in the heat of the battle i'm calling for sure.
Btw shoving your pair+draw on flop is good another choice. Edit : I must add that my blind agression cost me lots of tournaments so you may not listen to me. |
Re: hero calldown in blind battle
i would fold the river at this point.... but i would have shoved the flop... you have, as I like to say "bigouts2win" against most hands. Stick it in.

Re: hero calldown in blind battle
i like the river call. i like the check to induce a bluff also.

this is really really really bad you beat nothign [/ QUOTE ] What do you think villian has? jacks full or a flopped straight? He's value shoving a 6? I call out of sheer curiosity. |
Re: hero calldown in blind battle
I'm folding on the river.
He raised the flop and has been betting ever since. Then, he shoved the river. He means business and the only thing you beat here is a busted draw. Give it up and move on. |

[/ QUOTE ] He raised flop, and then kept betting, but as a J and then another hit the board? That's a bit wierd. Maybe he flopped the nut straight, and is value betting the whole way though, but on a raggy flop he is really agressive with a good hand, when hero looks like he's taking a weak stab in a BvB. The fact that hero seemed weak on the flop and villian responded by being agressive makes me think this is less likely. The other option is a week hand or a bluff which included a jack, and got lucky on the turn i.e. j5, j6, j4 maybe. These are really the only good hands which make any sense, but with only two jacks out there and headsup, I think this is pretty unlikely too. The fact that he is saying "I have a great hand" all the way through, when the board changes so dramatically makes me think that this is a bluff most of the time. I like this call alot |
Re: hero calldown in blind battle
I would just 3-ball the flop.
By the time you get to the river I like the call for the reasons Jammy provided. |
Re: hero calldown in blind battle
Wow good stuff here thanks all
Results: I was the BB with 32cc lolz sigh. Just wanted to get a sense for how many people could make that call. |
