ok, 8 minutes in and they've yet to [censored] it up yet, i mean i know they will eventually but this is the first time the show has seemed halfway decent. oh and scenes of hot hispanic bitches getting plowed with 1 leg in the air really do it for me.

Or does the Haitian disable his copying power whenever he is close enough to copy it? I guess we'll see at some point. Him shutting off everyone else's power seems a little broken.


A third of the way through and this episode is awesome so far... though I still don't know WTF they're doing with Maya and Alejandro...

Overall a very good episode.

DL's death was a little random. Just in the building like that, with such little build-up.

And I still don't know why we care about Maya and Alejandro.

The lack of Sylar also sucked.

Let's hope that they don't have to use the rushed ending on Dec 3rd (anticipating the strike, they filmed an ending setting up for Volume 3 as part of Season 2, and a Volume 3 as Season 3... in theory it has to be rushed... at least in my mind), as the series really is getting on track again.

I must be in the minority who thought this episode was kind of average. The wonder twins suck badly and DL's death was pretty lame. I guess it sets up Niki's story with going to the company, but certainly that could've still been the case after the Linderman ordeal.

On the plus side, Adam and Peter's relationship is intriguing, as well as where the Haitian's loyalties lie. Manipulative Mama Petrelli always makes for a good time as well. I've still got high hopes for the rest of the shortened season.

How the hell does DL die when he insta lets that dudes fist go through his head but can't do it in when some random guy shoots him? I'm guessing there's more then meets the eye on this one otherwise super lame death. Could the latin twins die, who gives a [censored] about them. Decent episode, hope they don't [censored] up the climax.

I thought they were doing two story-arcs this season anyway, split by winter break. That's what I recall hearing last spring anyway.

That big, climactic battle that ended last season.. Actually had no lasting effects whatsover?


Why was Nikki allowed to just stroll out into to public when she's carrying a lethal virus? Our understanding is that that virus is highly contagious and deadly. So why is she not quarantined?

Either we needed to be told she's not dangerous and she's NOT patient zero. Or we need to explanation why they let her leave... Like Bob's actually the one trying to start a plague, not Adam and Bob was FOS blaming Adam.

They did a good job fogging up whether Adam is a bad guy or not. Seemed likely before, but now that we know he's being honest with memory-loss, action Peter, maybe he's not.

I thought they did a good job tying up the loose ends. Most of the episode was entertaining although I'm not really into micah and co or the Mexicans. They will be gone soon anyway when Sylar kills them both. Next episode should have a lot of action.

Plan A was Volume 2 ends midseason and Volume 3 starts after winter break. Plan B (Strike) is Volume 2 has less of a hanging ending and does a more of a wrap up then it would with no strike.

DL's survival added nothing to the story and they didn't address Sylar getting stabbed in the chest, Parkman taking like 489298328923 bullets to the chest.

Matt-Didn't die, became NYPD Detective

We learned this early this year, not much reason to show it.

We learned DL died, but they decided to show us it anyways, Sylar would have been a much more interesting arc.

Bell is uberhot but Larter is uberhotter. I just can't get enough of her!

Still Adam Monroe; remember, Hiro's dad was a big part of the company, as we saw in the first season. This doesn't really explain why he went after Angela Petrelli, unless there's still more to learn.

Good call; I forgot about that scene. Can the Haitian focus on individuals? When he blocks Peter from telekinesising that glass, Peter had JUST been shocked on the nose. Are we to believe that the Haitian hadn't started his turn-off power until RIGHT when Peter tried to move the glass, or that the Haitian can turn off Peter while leaving on electro-girl?

I don't get what's to learn; Angela Petrelli was a big part of The Company. Adam's going after the company. Therefore Adam's going after Angela.

I agree that there are big reveals left with Angela. This whole episode, whenever she was on screen I was hoping she'd do SOMETHING powery, but no go.

the only plot line i thought was particularly good in that whole episode was adam / peter etc.; i admit that kristen bell is super uber hot but they really wimped out on her backstory (that part of the episode made me go from "this character is awesome" to "this character is lame and boring"... hell she even admits it in show!)

venezuelan twins = suck, niki / micah / dl = suck, haitian still being trusted part of company = makes no sense, haitian suddenly getting new power = lame copout, much more interesting for it to be a lie and it was just drugs from day 1
