I'll be there the whole week. I'll have my car so let's find some restaurants with Michelin stars, eh?

I might play in it if I can win a satellite, but I doubt I'll even get to play satellites because of school.

Thinking about making this trip before Bellagio... Anyone want to chop a room?

I'm doing TV for the final table of the main event(Canadian Poker Tour). Love to get the names of the some of the American players coming up so we can profile them for the broadcast. I know ActionJeff came up and won the shorthanded event last time(Johnny Chan Classic). I also saw Gobbo, Scott Clements, MrSmokey and SPAmbrose as well. Reply if you are going to make it.

I'd be interested in going if there were a few people who wanted to chop a room. I called just now to see what was left, and they said most rooms at the poker rate were full, leaving just some double suites on the concierge level at 329 CDN a night (this was for the 17th through the 25th).

If anyone wouldn't mind having another person stay in an already booked room, I'd definitely be interested. I've met several 2p2ers at TS/Vegas/Vancouver before, and I would think they'd vouch for me being a good guy.

Coincidentally I met Jeff back in May at the JCPC, and won the $550 the night before he won the 6max, so if anything I'd have good karma going in I suppose.

Seeing as i live here i will be playing the Main event. The other events are during school/a waste of time so I'm not gonna play them.

since the casino is five minutes from the airport there are severalhotels within a couple of minutes from river rock..you can definitely get cheaper room rates than $329 per night they are charging at the resort.

Oh, I know that, but I really liked the hotel back in May, and the restaurants were great. I'd be willing to pay a bit of a premium to be able to stay there.

Bump to see if anyone with a room at River Rock would be have space for one more.

Also, laserguy, do you have the names of a few places close to the River Rock that are nice and offer decent rates.

You should take a train down to Seattle and come to the Seahawks-Bears game with me tomorrow. Go Hawks.

Yeah, both that and the Holiday Inn are <5 min walk from River Rock, both for around $100-120 a night tx included.
