Iraq Update/TR
 

Okay, so its not really a true TR but just an update. 2+2 is blocked out here for the most part but the forum server isnt, yet. Pretty much anything worth looking at on the internet is blocked.

Anyway, not much goes on out here. I go outside the wire once and sometimes twice a day. While I was in Baghdad we were hit with mortar rounds twice but no one was injured or anywhere near the blasts. I am very happy not to have to be there anymore. I still have about five months left out here, give or take a couple of weeks.

The poker bug has really caught on around here. Mostly low stakes stuff, $5 and $10 games. We just had our first "Big Game" of $100. Marines basically suck at poker so I spend more time mentoring than playing. Its the same story every night and every game, no one ever raises anything and then they complain about why their AA loses every time, LOL! Even the "Big Game" was terrible play but still fun.

I'll do a full out TR when I get back to the States complete with pics and a bit more detail. Until then, GL in the FTOPS that I see is going on. Take it easy.

Oh, and I finally got hotsync to work on my phone so i can finally upload the video of all the guys in your avatar singing Journey. The sound quality blows, but, hey, it's mttc doing karaoke so that's probably a good thing.
