Foxwoods ME - I flopped a straight!
 

I open 89 in the CO to 300 and 50/100 and DabaddestChic calls from the SB. The BB also calls. The flop is TJQr. DabaddestChic leads for 700, BB folds and I make it 2100. Turn is a 2. He checks and I bet 3800. He calls. River is a T and he leads for 6k. I have 20k left and he covers.

Chewy and i are sitting here trying to think of any hand you beat that takes this line. We don't have one yet.

im not cool enough to be sitting next to chewy or bond but the only hand in his range that we beat is KT/T9 who is blocking and I don't think that this is the case enough for you to call

BTW, if i'm villain in this hand with a boat i think you really need to check/shove river because i think there's very little in grafyx's range that checks behind.

he would have reraised jj,qq preflop or on flop,turn. he may have q10 or j10 that just filled up vs a,10 or k,10(less likely). His turn call suggests significant strength and when he leads out he assumes ur calling given ur line thus far(unless you've been seen to make tough laydowns). He's showing q10 or j10 a lot here. It's tough but I'd probably fold.

I was about to post that and then realized should we be betting this river and so far the only good argument I have is, we have a straight.

I was about to post that and then realized should we be betting this river and so far the only good argument I have is, we have a straight.
