Hero bets $99, UTG raises to $413.70 and is All-In, Hero?

What is the best action in this spot? b/c, c/f or b/f??

And how much does the squeeze situation lower your requirements for committing with the hand compared to a two way pot?

I mean you only beat TT and bluffs..unless you have a read that he does retarded stuff...it's a fold...you get shown QQ-AA too often vs that player

Don't 3b pf if you don't know what to do on this flop.

I fold. If you call, I expect villain will show AA a lot of the time and is hoping you will stack off with KK/QQ.
This is a silly spot for villain to make a big bluff raise (which includes every hand you beat).

easy fold

Bah, everyone smooths AA/KK here, and more people then ever are shoving these flops with air.

how do you have this many posts - how loose do you have to squeeze to get called with overs in this spot

this would be a bad call

Then it is a bad 3-bet

Exactly, are we not trying to rep a squeeze here? Are we not enticing him to play back?

If we think its going to be an overpair race, then we shouldn't play the hand this way.

I would never play it this way with the intention of folding, that's all I'll say.

Re: 400NL Pretty standard 3bet spot. What is the best action?

I think the responses in demonstrate that this is a very borderline situation. QQ+ is easy to play here but JJ is troublesome.

I will never bet/fold this so its either a check/fold og bet/call.

The 3bet has to be good if you ever 3bet light in this situastion and I believe most of you usually 3bet JJ in this spot.

More comments please.

How would you play it aislephive?

Re: 400NL Pretty standard 3bet spot. What is the best action?

i usually call in these situations, and i see all kinds of crap....id pocket pairs, two overcards, 910, whatever

I also see AA, KK, and monsters a lot too though...

Overall, I think it's pretty close against most good, aggro players

I wouldn't play it much differently if at all. I'm just saying I would never fold after taking this line. I don't think calling is massively +EV, it's really borderline actually, probably around nuetral EV. I don't know how villain plays and that info really dictates the best course of action.

meh, i play it the same, and call here.

Re: 400NL Pretty standard 3bet spot. What is the best action?

def call - def marginal

you are def ahead of TT, but villain will sometimes have 88 and AK too, esp. this past week TAGs have been going crazy in raised pots

Re: 400NL Pretty standard 3bet spot. What is the best action?

Not sure about the 2-4 games, which I think are a little more passive. But against an aggro reg in the 5-10 games this is a turbo call.

I'm gonna guess you got shown QQ here though.

Ok, go ahead show results so that all these idiots can say it was a "situational cooler" that you got shown QQ-AA

Re: 400NL Pretty standard 3bet spot. What is the best action?

I'm sure he lost, people only post hands like this when they lose. It's not like we have to be good very often, and I'd expect us to lose this more often than we win, but we're good enough to call probably. Bet/folding the flop is pretty atrocious, though.
