10/20 disgusting river spot
 

i have only been at the table for 15 minutes, don't have a read on opponent. he has been very aggressive, but none of his hands have gone to showdown so i can't say whether he is maniacal.

I'm trying to think of a hand other than AK or a set of 8s or 9s that makes sense here and I'm not coming up with much. Maybe he's got KK?

hmm well i doubt he's limp 3betting pf with 88 or 99... meanwhile whats up w that tiny rereaise... i guess QQ is a possibility but i think you're looking at KK or AK a lot here, so i'd call

If I had to guess, you're either chopping or he has AQ. I'd call this pretty much always too fwiw.

i wouldn't put him on 88 or 99 because i'm sure he would have just called your raise PF. i don't put him on QQ because of the mini raise, seems like he sure wants action. if i had QQ i would raise way more to get you off the hand before the flop incase a A comes. most likeable hand here is an AK or he is just continuation bluffin

It's hard to construct a range when you know absolutely nothing about the player.

he most likely has AK

or AQ? I could see someone playing AQ like this. I think KK would be less likely then J10 or AQ. A set could play like this if he's real tricky type.

Unless he's a really crazy player, who would shove all in with KK in this spot and turn it into a bluff, when it has showdown value?

You're chopping with a small part of his range, losing to most of the rest and beating a bluff (or KK/whatever he turned into a bluff).

First of all raise more PF at least 120$ I would raise to 140-150$ and I don't mind playing for Stacks pf OOP in this spot.
Keep in mind that if he has a worse hand or the same hand his continuation bet on the flop will make you fold the better/same hand and if you hit a King and he really has Aces you lose your stack anyways.
You can avoid these situations that way and move on to the next hand!

As played 100% call the river.
I never fold in this spot.
There are way too many possible hands you could beat and guys who limp / reraise hands are mostly not the big winners in those games and capable of very very weird bluffs / weird value bets with worse hands.
Wouldn't be suprised to see a hand like 44 in that spot but it could be anything, happend to often to myself.
I auto call here and this belongs in the Beat/Brags etc. forum

I call, I just having a tough time folding when I show weakness in a 3 bet pot and have something as strong as TPTK.
