umn...why didn't you raise preflop? Thats the biggest mistake I see besides b/c the river shove.

I put this guy on TT or 88, I thought I could extract the most by floating then making a move and making a move on the river...

I discounted his hand due to the fact that he was a position [censored]. The had the feeling he was weak, that's the reason I only called pf, normally there I can raise, but my range is higher if I call. He had just stacked another guy at the table about two hands before, once again a just a weak feeling...

On the flop that is... I get I would gain information from raising, but I don't think I would maximize.

You never said in the original post that villain 3 bets light pre-flop.

Honestly, if villain is a lag I would just fold pre flop. It might be weak tight but I think the entire hand is going to be difficult to play unless you flop a big hand.
