This episode has felt kind of over-the-top sitcom-y to me.

That said, there have still been some AMAZING lines.

"Someone needs to clean it. It smells like popcorn" had me rolling for some reason. Same with "The eyes are the groin of the head."

They are making an Office spin off of that branch with Karen (IIRC), so he really might be leaving to go on the other one.

EDIT: Eh, they say new characters will be in the Office 2, so nevermind.

i thought it was pretty weak, although it was nice to see karen back. i only laughed at a couple of things (oscar's gay line, 'host the dundees', eyes/groin/face). there were some other cute and nice parts, but overall it was pretty meh.

Agree. This episode was hilarious. I found myself thinking after last week's episode that they needed to do a light-hearted one with lots of laughs after the last couple more serious drama ones. Great episode.

I liked the episode a lot but I do agree with the point on Jim. I know its a comedy put he just seemed like so much of a pushover and out of character for him.

his parting line to Karen was priceless.

He wanted to say goodbye without saying anything related to "see you later". They got the line exactly right.

Yeah, I loved Jim in this episode because it actually showed his character in more depth. He's normally the even tempered, joke-making guy. But in this episode we actually see him annoyed and angry. I thought he did the whole car ride really really well.

And that ending was awesome.
