Stars needs to make it easier for the fishies >>oo<<
 

I am starting to play on stars again and epassporte takes too long. Think about all the fish that have a buzz and want to play some poker, but epassporte takes 2 weeks to load their account and they say "forget about it". Why can't there be another company like netteller? Why can't pokerstars create their own third party merchant and just change the name that shows up to the financial institutions making the transfer. There's got to be a better way!

I sent an email to stars to make this recommendation but they just sent me back a generic email that listed the current payment options [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

I dont want to name the poker site but some of you probably willknow, I had my bank call me and ask if I made a 600 dollar purchase for flowers out of the country? Then couple of weeks later asked if I purchased a ps3 for 600. lol Some of the sights are very smart..

Stars has e-checks. But still appears to be in test and not deployed for everyone.

And they also have Paytru. Very easy to deposit with ACH/Paytru

Thats BS I funded FTP with my ATM and it shows on my bank statement as "fulltiltpoker.com"
The bank never questioned it at all.

It is back, at least for some players, with plans to make it available to everyone as the kinks are worked out. I use Paytru and my GF used ach. I don'r know how her ach deposit went but she is playing.

Im pretty sure the site in question is UB - i vaguely remember someone making a thread along the lines of a funky named transaction that UB used as a cover.

I deposited at FTP and on my statement it's shown as PS3 SHOP.

Oh that sucks. It might just be easier for you to open a new bank account and get a check card. I know mine works with Epassporte.

Looks like stars has the instant checks now!! Ask an ye shall receive. I hope this will enable more casual players to fund their accounts!

I don't have eChecks as a deposit option. I wrote to their cashier, and they wrote:

Thank you for your email.

Instant eChecks are currently only available to a limited number of
players in the U.S. The reason is because we are re-introducing this
method using a new processor so we are opening up this option slowly to

our U.S. players to ensure everything runs smoothly.

If you don't see the eCheck deposit option now and you're a U.S.
player, please be patient as you will see this option in the near
future.

Kinda sucks, I want to switch from FTP to Stars, but all of my credit/debit card processors deny my Stars deposits.
