I was always under the impression that Rachel Ray was pretty much just a pretty face who they threw in front of the camera to read lines, but if she can actually cook I'd say she's about the ideal woman. |

If this picture was of a no name girl, it would be nothing special. That being said I can see the allure of a woman who can cook. My personal taste's skew more toward Giada De Laurentiis. She's a little more chesty than Rachel. |

She is the most annoying face on Food Network (except for Paula Deen, who's a caricature). It's not even just one thing, it's the whole package. The eye-rolling, giggling, smacking her lips... I can't stand it.

Rachel Ray doesn't do it for me but I don't like short and stocky/pudgy chicks, if that is your cup then cool. What I did find funny is this: [ QUOTE ] and knows how to cook [/ QUOTE ] Lol, wtf?! She isn't even a chef. She is a gimmick and has become a pop icon b/c she tapped a certain market that could be tapped. Plus, she is a marketing genius too--besides the 30 minute meals being a great idea (now the meals are about as basic as it gets and are meals that are common sense and not chef quality etc. etc. etc.) she uses catchy phrases and appealed a broader audience. She became likable. She burns [censored] all the time, she can't use an oven correctly and all she does is use garlic and chicken stock for flavoring for just about every meal. Lol @ this chick knows how to cook, I am a better cook than her--I just don't use cheesy catch phrases that middle aged women are going to go ga ga over and find adorable...translation: I see through the BS. |
