BarryG - Online Poker should be legal in 6 months
 

I was just listening to Barry's audio blog. He was talking about his recent trip to Washington for the PPA. He mentioned that from the reception they got, he expects the bills to pass, likely within six months, and online poker to be regulated in the US. This sounds like great news. Party come back soon?

obv this would be fantastic but that prediction sure seems optimistic.

why would politicians take such a chance in an election year? they could leave it alone and have one less thing to worry about, one less question to answer while campaigning. hope i'm very wrong.

It'll probably be 20-25 percent but it will probably take 2-3 years for it to be taxed and regulated. The goverment is very slow in getting around to things.
