AP visit? Got my sit n go money back today!

I played graycat 3 times at the 5k hu sitngo's....ap gave me 30k back which was very nice of them considering they could have just givin me 15k for my buy in's but gave the amount that if I would have won all.

I beleive from what it sounds like I took the biggest hit money wise due to cheating. They have offered me the opportunity to visit them. I will basically be shown their offices and all that bs...mainly when I go down there I will want to know what they are doing to ensure that cheating cannot exist anymore at AP and what steps they did to ensure that.

To all players who lost money in cash games to the cheaters I think he said we will get our money by the end of this week or next.

Please to all players who lost money on AP due to the cheaters and also players that play on AP, What questions, concerns should I be asking AP's management. Basically anything that you would want to know or see if you were down there tell me so I can give you feedback when I come back.

Re: AP visit? Got my sit n go money back today!

Ask them what the two other account names were that their mouthpiece/source said we didn't catch but were in on the cheating.
I can't remember at which point that came out- but complete transparency of the names of the cheating accounts is a minimum for obvious reasons.

We know doubledrag, graycat, potripper, payup, and steamroller. We know that supercard55 ( I think that's the correct name) and romnaldo were dump accounts.

We need the full list.

What steps are they taking to ensure that if this happens in the future, they will quickly and effectively freeze the suspicious accounts, determine and admit cheating occurred, and refund the victims. basically, if this happens again, will they deny everything like they did initially, or do the right thing like they appear to be doing now?

You do know that there are other online poker sites out there, don't you?

It is beyond me why anyone would even consider playing there again. What possible reason could there be?

Re: AP visit? Got my sit n go money back today!

I would ask them if they are creating a plan for handling the PR side of situations in the future. More specifically, if they could do it over agaain how would they handle the public disclosure part of this fraud.

Although full transparency with private companies is not a requirement it is certainly necessary in cases like this to restore player confidence. My quess is that they still don't have a plan because as we all know the "official" information from AP has been very slow to come out.

I have an AP account but do not play there much. Although small stakes players don't have much to worry about I am still very reluctant to give them business because they have betrayed playres and not fully owned up to what's happened. Once they do own up it will still take one heck of a bonus to get me to play there

[censored] ptowner, how come i don't get free trip to costa rica? I guess 30k isn't enough.

As for who lost the most in this, the biggest number I've heard from one person is 80k. Can you hit that?

Re: AP visit? Got my sit n go money back today!

That number is about where i'm at...I know DONKOFHOLDEM and TheGrinder got hit pretty bad by Doubledrag.

Slider,
What were you playing to lose to GrayCat? If it was cash games probably end of this week but most likely next week...that is what they were telling me.

Re: AP visit? Got my sit n go money back today!

Another question that I really am curious about is they gave me the amount of money I would have received if I would have won the sitngo's. So lets say with all 3 players in cash games I have won 70,000 in pots against them but they have won 120,000 in pots against me. Giving me my wins/losses on pt of -50k. But if they payed out like the sitngo's shouldn't I be receiving 120,000? Because they were telling me we are going to pay you as in if when you played him you won. I don't know but I think this makes sense.

Re: AP visit? Got my sit n go money back today!

Ask them why they didn't catch this earlier?

Why did the poker community find it before them?

After it was brought up why didn't they look into it right away? I read on another post that they denied it to P5, why?

Did they really fire the guys right away or did they try to hide it and only fired them when they couldn't?

I get the feeling they only came clean after people started to pull their money out and call for bans.

You asked if it was "okay" to play there. And my point was that only you can decide that.

If you meant to ask whether it was safe for your money or not, I think there has been alot of info on here and there is always risk, so really it's up to you on how risk tolerant you are willing to be. It's kind of hard to assess that risk exactly.
