The Bill Fillmaff character - not funny
 

I found a picture of Bill Fillmaff, who is supposed to be a parody of Phil Hellmuth. I thought the name was funny, but when I checked out part of a video, I thought the humor was very uncreative and not very funny.

Anyone else checked out this character?

Yes, when it came out 2 years ago. It did start out funny, it ran out of steam though as it came along.

I like Bill Fillmaff, he has Phil's mannerisms down, especially the way he sits during a hand and his really excited insta-calls.

chapters 1 and 5 are gold - nothing else is very good

I remember watching them...and I remember laughing during most parts.

"normally I'd fold this but I got the puppy paws"...I loved that video. A monkey playing poker is funny...him playing razz was kind of funny. "Fillmaff just took it down.... ... ..not really sure why"

For me it peaked at; "I value-check my nuts." And the Goose Hinson was pretty good. A lot seemed to be 'reaching'.

The best things I've seen from his videos on Youtube are his 'value calling the nuts' concept. Genius. Also, the rap for his theme song is pretty good.

OK well firstly you're a couple years behind and secondly humor is subjective so you can't ever really say, "FACT: THIS IS NOT FUNNY" because there are people out there that think looking at aborted fetuses is hilarious and also people who really enjoy Carrot Top. There are even people who think Humberto Brenes is Comedy Christ. Besides, I'm pretty sure Bill Fillmaff is trying to be serious so you shouldn't think this is funny anyways.

That being said, yeah, if you're going to watch two videos, the two best ones are probably the $4.40 PS Sit & Go and the Goose Hinson episode. If you don't like these, you won't like the other crap.

I dunno, I dig it, I laughed a lot at the series, it's my kind of low budget humor, I haven't checked it out in a while though and just now saw that there is a DVD available, I'll probably buy it because it's super cheap and it did make me laugh.

Bill Fillmaff was funny but yeah he did kind of run out of steam. Still it was a good concept but you can only take a parody of a poker player so far.
