Uhh, ever fold KK pf here? .5/1.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1614369

I'm getting a possible return of 170 on an investment of $135.

This is TT-KK/AK enough to call?

So lost here.

if im reading the action correctly, i would never consider folding. he can be isorerasing TT vs shortstack. go all in and be happy about it.

THIS ISN'T CLOSE!!!! I always open these threads to see a spot where you should actually fold KK, but this is getting rididculous.

Well obv he had AA. I decided I was posting the hand either way because I was tempted to fold.

It's a terrible play with AA making it an easy call. It's genius against like a fifth of my range.

Agreed. Later on in the match there was an unraised pot in my BB. I had 45hh. Flop was 6h7hTx, he donks, I raise 3x, he pushes for 130bb. I tank and call just because I love to gamble and want to suck out on this guy. 66 scoops. Terrible call, but I just had to know.

He really does hate money. I obviously hate it more though.

Since when shoving AA preflop is hating money?

sigh. reread the hand, and if you decide shoving AA is the most optimal line for the villain, then ill answer your question.

Re: Uhh, ever fold KK pf here? .5/1.

For all I can see its an isolation raise that I would do with 99+, AQs+. Probably not all in, but its a only cosmetic difference since it is clear I am calling all in regardless.

tubasteve 10-22-2007 05:26 AM

Re: Uhh, ever fold KK pf here? .5/1.

i think the guy with AA should either call or make it like 50, that way hero would still have a chance to make a play, and its not like pps have odds to setmine anyway

lippy 10-22-2007 05:34 AM

Re: Uhh, ever fold KK pf here? .5/1.

If he calls/raises I'm obviously raising strong creating a huge overlay. God his play was bad. Really shoulda let me hang myself.

i mean, any raise is suspicious, but at least a < AI raise has a chance of being called/reraised...AI is just too much of an overbet to expect action from anything but QQ+.

i personally would really like flatting in villains spot.

Sorry, I don't see it this way. To me a big raise is iso. A small raise - villain wants you in the pot.

i agree normally, but in this spot i think shoving is still -EV compared to flatting or raising smaller. people just dont call off stacks when you shove 150bb unless it was going to be a cooler anyway.
