You called and he had aces. So what? Don't second guess yourself, you have the best of it the majority of the time here.

Re: nl 100, KK facing 4bet shove pre.

you get it in here obv.

The exception is this. If the 24/18 were very solid regular who you had thousands of hands with in which you ran something super nitty like 13/3 or whatever. In that case you could put smart villain on exactly AA. But barring that, get it in.

Re: nl 100, KK facing 4bet shove pre.

OP, if you want to start folding KK for just over 100bb's preflop thats your business, but it will pretty much never be correct to do so, that much i can assure you of.

I'd fold. I mean, do you really expect him to be shoving anything that we beat?

It there's a 4-bet AI before you have acted this can be defensible.

Like if UTG opens, UTG+1 3-bets, and SB shoves, and there's no history, and both UTG's are reasonably tight and SB isn't too aggro, I could dump KK in the BB.

But if the 4-bet is after you 3-bet, then no, folding for 100BBs is way beyond retarded.

Re: nl 100, KK facing 4bet shove pre.

I say you should felt this and most of the time you will be ahead preflop. Most is not all times, however in the last week i have been up against 99-QQ AQ-AK, so as you can easily see you will be ahead for the most part by doing this and sometimes it will be aces. Fitness freak is a very good player and coach id listen to what he says.
