Halo 3: lost all progress in solo campaign
 

Anyone else have this problem? I was fairly deep into the campaign, saved, turned off my xbox, came back the next day, turned it back on... and I'm at the start of the first [censored] mission. Anyone else have this? Anyway I can fix it (I know there's not). Cheat codes for different missions maybe?

from what i hear the entire solo campaign is done in half an hour anyway so just play through it in one shot.

It took me about 8 hours on heroic with no skulls on just plowing through not looking for any of the extras.

Lost my campaign 2 times already. Good to know I dont have to blame anyone in my house though.

I was an idiot by playing nearly all the way through on the 3rd difficulty - thought I could play a random earlier multi-player campaign mission in multi-player. Despite the warning I lose all my campaign data, but that's me being stupid and not reading the warning correctly.

Soooo my bud and I beat the game but it never saved. We come back tonight starting on the last level and beat it again, still no save. What am I doing wrong?
