TPTK facing resistance, $200 NL

Villain is purplejurkle, 17/15/4 over a decemt sample. This one of those "villain can only really have one hand" type of spots, but realistically he probably has that hand. Do you guys just fold the turn instead of what I did which is probably awful?

In general I just decide whether or not to play for stacks after he raises the flop. He's telling you that you are beat, and if you believe him, why bother calling there?

Really depends on how he views you.

With the information given, I think folding to flop raise >> committing >>>> calling flop and folding turn.

Well people will bluffraise the flop and then give up and really this isn't a bad flop to bluffraise if you ignore that he really can't rep many hands here. Generally I agree with you though that I shoul prob decide on the flop. His turn bet just seemed really strong though, for some reason I thought it was nearly a psb when I was playing the hand.

This was only a few orbits into the session and I actually haven't played with purplejurkle in a pretty long time so not really sure how he would view me.

I just fold to the flop raise. I don't think think a 17/15 villain is raising the flop with anything you beat and I think he is bluffing here very rarely.
