Problems with new stars update?
 

Not sure, things don't seem to be working comepletely. Especially the dealer and player chat that is displayed in the chat box. The player actions arent displayed in the box even though I have them turned on, and players chatting isnt working either. Sometimes the chat is in blue, other times its not just in black. Anyone else having some problems?

I have been experiencing problems as well. Tournament registration is going very slow, it seems like the lobbies are all messed up. The chat is also broken, and the site crashed last night. Where's Lee when you need him?

seemed to be using more resources with me and my mouse wasn't moving quite as fluidly although that could be my imagination.

Some users reported problems the last time they tried this similar update which includes resizeable lobbies and choice of font-size. They took back that update apparently after realizing there were some kinks to it.

Seems they still didn't get quite all of the kinks out of it.

geez, even something as simple as opening a new table seems to take longer than it used to.

BetPot AHK doesn't seem to be working form me since the update.

BetPot is broken? and no-one has posted in it's thread [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] I'd have fixed it by now... Will take a look straight away.

EDIT: Seems to be fine for me after a quick test on NL cash.

If you are having problems with BetPot + PokerStars 2.347 - Firstly make sure you are using the latest BetPot if you haven't updated in ages - then post details please (preferably in the SW forum BetPot thread) should problems continue, I will fix.

I got trouble opening the lobby and registering for SnG's. Hit register, it takes an eternity and then says "full".

There's delays when registering/unregistering for SNGs. Tried to unregister for one, but it didn't respond for a few minutes until it filled up and started.

When its my turn to sit after being in the waiting list, it keeps saying "This seat is reserved for players in the waiting list" for like 15 seconds, ANNOYING

Tourney reg. is super slow, and some sit and goes are showing in the lobby as open, but is showing full when I reg.

yeah, I had similar seating and wait-list probs.

I would click 'join waitlist' for a cash-game table and then like 30 seconds later it MIGHT add me to the list.

There were a couple of tables where it seemed the delay was so long that I wasn't able to get my seat. Took too long to open the table.

I've been having occasional probs with my connection lately but everything else seemed to be working fine when this happened and it seems very similar to some of the other probs benig discussed.

in short, it all seems kind of buggy to me.

Yes, also sometimes clicking the 'Join waiting list' buttons doesnt do anything.

The lobby is continually stealing focus from tables and all other apps I'm running. So basically it's impossible to play.

+1 for waiting list and table opening from waiting list delays, but other than that is playing fine. Like the resizable lobby very much.

I noticed some very bad lag while heavily multi-tabling. blinds posted, then 5 sec later cards would be dealt.

I didn't really have any problems. I'm running on a laptop 8-tabling and the only thing I noticed was it took like 3 seconds longer to sit at the table. Other than that, no problems.

Just finished a session 6-tabling on laptop. No issues.

AHK Scripts will cause this.

Mine are fixed, and have been since the previous trial of the resizeable lobby. If you are running either StarsPlanner or AutoReloader - update them.

I have no idea on the status of other's acripts - but the lobby no "looks similar" to a pop-up dialog to scripts - so an AHK trying to deal with pop-ups will cause this focus stealing issue.

Of course if you have no scripts wunning, I have no idea what is wrong.

someone just doubled up through me, and even though I still had money on the table, PS wouldn't let me post my blind, even though I didn't leave the table.

Also when your navigating the lobby going from "Tourney" tab, "Hold'em" tab, etc. It resets the previous game that you had highlighted.

Tourney lobbies are all messed up. Sometimes it'll be sorting by rank, but be totally out of order. Or it'll have chip counts from 3 hands ago.

Pretty weird stuff

But I like the double-rebuy button..

Try "Auto-Double Rebuy", Bob.

In most rebuy tourneys now, you can click either of a pair of "advance action checkboxes" that will automatically rebuy (single or double) any time you lose your last chip. If you intend to rebuy for 3000 until the cows come home, just check the appropriate box... and never think about it again for the rest of the tournament.

This has been around for a couple weeks now. Cheers!

A new feature is that sometimes tableas appear duplicated in the table listings, until you scroll down/up to refresh.

Network status doesn't work.

Its okay until I sit at table but once I've sat down then help->network status does nothing. Leaving the table doesn't fix it, have to close the client.

WTF. Tourney registration sometimes takes forever; the tourney lobbies are very slow. Way less slick than previously.
