Which ONGAME skin is most trustworthy for high-stakes / large balances
I'm posting to ask which Ongame skin is preferred by those who keep large balances, and need to feel comfortable that their bankroll is sufficiently liquid -- i.e. can be withdrawn on short notice. (Hence me posting in this forum, which is probably home to some large online bankrolls.)
Up to this point, I've played at Hollywood, but they're on the verge of losing my business because of a terrible glitch in their cashout system. They advertise a daily cashout limit of $10,000, which I understand is typical of all Ongame skins, and would be just fine with me......if they actually HONOURED it. But as I detailed in this thread, nearly EVERY one of my large cashouts has been unilaterally canceled by them, without explanation! After an annoyed series of emails back and forth, they claim that it's because their system has the following ridiculous glitch: if a withdrawal is requested before the previous one has cleared, then the two are lumped together by their ridiculous cashout system, and if the total if more than $10,000 (their daily limit, so they say) then the system automatically rejects BOTH cashouts because it thinks that they exceed the $10,000 daily limit, even if they are made several days apart!! Why is this a kick in the teeth? Because Moneybookers cashouts take 4 to 6 business days to fully clear, so their cashout limit, while advertised to be $10,000 / day is more like $10,000 per WEEK. And don't even get me started on how retarded it is that BOTH cashouts are canceled in the above scenario...it would be one thing if their system simply said "sorry, because you have a pending cashout of $10,000, you can't request another one til it clears," but instead it basically says "whoa, we've got to reject BOTH of these cashouts, because our system isn't smart enough to recognize that two requests made 3 days apart are actually SEPARATE cashout requests." Bottom line, I've been trying to withdraw $30,000 from there for nearly a month (!!), and have been stuck in a continuous loop of cashout requests followed days later by the cancellation of those same cashouts. I've been assured by them several times that the problem has been fixed, only to request a couple cashouts and find that in fact NOTHING has been fixed. So unless they get their act together, I'm looking to move Ongame skins. What are some skins that you have found to be trustworthy with large bankrolls? Do any of them offer HIGHER daily cashout limits than $10,000? I've been told that some skins offer wire transfer cashouts that are NOT subject to the $10,000 daily limit typical at most Ongame skins...but Hollywood doesn't. Rakeback would also be nice...but not an absolute must. I just want somewhere that values me as a high-stakes player and makes me feel comfortable keeping a high bankroll on their site. |

Re: Which ONGAME skin is most trustworthy for high-stakes / large balances
Betsson is a very large betting company with sports and casino aswell as poker. They also have TV commercials which I dont think any of the other skins have.
Pokerroom is the original skin, so that should be pretty safe too |

Re: Which ONGAME skin is most trustworthy for high-stakes / large bala
wasn't pokerroom the one that had a [censored] load of problems before? w/ that one big loser guy that was a dick. i can't remember his name, he's pretty much gone now. but he used to play high stakes and won constantly, and he's dumb.

THAT'S who it was. thanks emil.

Re: Which ONGAME skin is most trustworthy for high-stakes / large bala
Yeah, Betsson.
Pokerroom, Tower, Redkings, Bwin and Prime poker are all owned by the same company as Hollywood so they're probably all best avoided if you think they're shady. |
Re: Which ONGAME skin is most trustworthy for high-stakes / large bala
Betsson without a shadow of a doubt. Eurobet are also popular and good with cashouts but I couldn't comment on bigger cashouts. Just be happy you weren't around when Bayou were operating.

Re: Which ONGAME skin is most trustworthy for high-stakes / large bala
No experience with cashing out more than $5k in one hit but I have to say Red Kings have always seemed pretty decent in my experience. I play almost exclusively on Ongame and they have amongst the best customer service of any skin in my opinion. They give constant bonuses, always reply to questions fast and seem to have a bit of a personal touch. I would email and just ask what their transfer limits are.
Also, have you tried Best Poker? I know if you become a Platinum VIP player there (60k points within 3 months which is easily acheivable even at MSNL) you get personal support etc. as well as loads of bonuses. Could email and ask them about daily cash out limits also. |
Re: Which ONGAME skin is most trustworthy for high-stakes / large bala
after reading your OP i have no desire to even consider playing there. the games would have to be soft.

Dear community,
Just wanted to comment on two things... 1. "Pokerroom, Tower, Redkings, Bwin and Prime poker are all owned by the same company as Hollywood..." This is not at all correct. 2. You will find differences in how the various sites operating within the Ongame Network cater to your payment needs. That's precisely how it should be. Some go the extra mile to offer the best in high-volume cashouts, while other sites focus on other aspects of running an online card room. Also worth mentioning is the fact that the Ongame Network Ombudsman Service we have been hinting for the past couple of months is now live on www.theongamezone.com. An official launch-date will be announced shortly. Kindly, The Ombudsman Ongame Network www.theongamezone.com |
Re: Which ONGAME skin is most trustworthy for high-stakes / large balances
Xtreme Bluff does not even process cashouts. I have had 7K cashout pending since January and I have been unable to get answers from anyone. They use a 3rd party to process cashouts. The number listed on their site connects me to said third party. They then say that the hold-up lies with the actual site, whom I have no way of contacting.
/rant Don't play on Xtreme Bluff, I have given up on this money. Edit: Is it possible to transfer money between OnGame skins? If not, I'd be will to sell this money to someone on XB at loss. |
Re: Which ONGAME skin is most trustworthy for high-stakes / large bala
lol @ xtremebluff
they are a futurebet site, and your not going to ever see that money. they also haven't been on the Ongame network since around January of this year. nice of you to offer to sell money thats impossible to cashout @ a loss |

lol @ xtremebluff they are a futurebet site, [/ QUOTE ] i understand there is already a group with the aim of getting the money back from futurebet (i have $1,175 stuck in pokespoker) but i would really like it if everyone on 2+2 chipped in $10 or so to help a search for the futurebet owners. once found we would make them eat the turd from each person they have stolen money off. for every $500 they stole from a person = 1 turd from that person. would be reasonable i think. |

Re: Which ONGAME skin is most trustworthy for high-stakes / large bala
This is sort of off the record and a very personal reflection but....
"...once found we would make them eat the turd from each person they have stolen money off. for every $500 they stole from a person = 1 turd from that person. would be reasonable i think..." Where do I chip in? Back on record... We've said it a hundred times before, and we will continue to say it a hundred times more. We are tremendously sorry to ever have been affiliated with that organisation, and we've done great damage to our own company and to you players by allowing them to ever operate within the Ongame Network. Since then, we've spent a lot of effort to ensure we only deal with financially strong and independent companies that are far more than what is normally perceived as a "skin". Sincerely, The Ombudsman Ongame Network --------------------- www.theongamezone.com |
Re: Which ONGAME skin is most trustworthy for high-stakes / large bala
fwiw ive been waiting on a wire transfer from eurobet for over 2 weeks now for a measly 1.8k and they wouldnt let me move another 30k from the poker room to the sportsbook which is a necessary step in the cashout process. im becoming very disconcerted.

Re: Which ONGAME skin is most trustworthy for high-stakes / large bala
Smellmuth,
Please use the Ombudsman contact form available on www.theongamezone.com to report this to us if you feel the need. If you do, don't forget to provide your account name. We rarely receive any complaints relating to cashouts when it comes Eurobet, so everything should work out fine. But this is a typical example of where an Ombudsman is good to have just to make sure everything proceeds as swiftly as possible. Keep in mind that the Ombudsman Service is by no means a customer support, so any resolution to or communication about this issue will come from Eurobet themselves although it might be on our recommendation. Sincerely, The Ombudsman Ongame Network ---------------------- www.theongamezone.com |

Re: Which ONGAME skin is most trustworthy for high-stakes / large bala
I think Betsson is the right choice.
I requested a cashout of $30k in $10k chunks and all 3 were processed together, hit my Neteller account at the same day. There were rakeback offers in the past, don't know if they are still available. |
