AA facing river c/r 250BBs deep vs 20BuckSpin

So far we have played for stacks 3 times or so, he's been bluffing twice and once my QQ>>his AK pf. I feel like my hand is face up here but not sure if that makes it a call or fold.

I think you're really owned here most of the time.

he's pretty sick if he'd doing this w/ air. then again, the way you checked the flop and flat-called the turn, its pretty obvious you are on one pair looking for a sd.

what do you make of his shove - as opposed to just raising to 1250, or something that "wants" to get called?

I'm confused. Why are we checking behind on a draw heavy flop. Isn't there a lot of hands that we are ahead of that call. Pairs <JJ are not putting in any more money no matter what.

Thoughts?

depends 100% on timing of his c/r.

god 20 buck is so [censored] annoying. i'd love to say call here bc he makes a lot of moves, but i've played a lot with him recently and his river c/r's always seem to be the goods

Re: AA facing river c/r 250BBs deep vs 20BuckSpin

your line is weak. the board is draw heavy but you check flop and call turn, he knows you don't have a monster and likely figured you'd call a bet on the river if he's thinking or bluffing or that you'll fire a value bet so checking again makes sense if he has you beat, hence he check raise instead imo.

whether he has you beat is pretty much impossible to know, but he knows you don't want to be check-raised on the flop and are looking for two streets of value, so he knows that if he feels like making a big move, he can.

as for how i'd play it different, i'd raise turn, your hand is then far wider.

Guys, what about a sexy min-raise on the turn? Doubt he shoves a draw and he has to be sorta nuts to c/r the river w/ air or a worse hand.

I like your flop check btw, folding the river is necessary now!
