|
Re: Royal Flush on board
fold preflop
|
Re: Royal Flush on board
if you shove he will have a -EV call becouse the rake is more then the haf of the pot he would win by calling, hence shoving is +EV

Re: Royal Flush on board

|
Re: Royal Flush on board
I would open fold this. Just for the story to tell.
|
Re: Royal Flush on board
I only opened this thread because I thought it was about making a big river bet and getting some stupid folds.
|
Re: Royal Flush on board
Don't shove river, but def bet river. At least a minbet.
|
Re: Royal Flush on board
Normally I say shove river but this pot is sooo small that you really SHOULD check since the $15 pot probably gets more than an additional .10 rake everytime...
so unless he folds constantly and you make that 10 cents every time... check or minbet since that wont increase the rake at all i would hope |

Re: Royal Flush on board
At FT I shove the river since I get sick rakeback
Since this is on PS, its a def fold IMO. |
Re: Royal Flush on board
31 posts debating rake on this hand = way bigger waste than any value lost by shoving or not shoving this river.
|
Re: Royal Flush on board
easy shove not worth the discussion

If there are 3 kings on board, some moron always has to go "whos got the 4th!!??" if there are 4 clubs on board its "whos got the ace?!?!" if the flop is 78T same suit its "wow, I wish I had J9, straight flush baby!". I think its an equal mix of they always fear monsters and they are trying to show how smart they are by somehow being able to read the board and identify the nuts. also, I change my vote from open fold to terps suggestion. |
