Also, is it possible to buy Halloween by itself, or am I going to have to watch them both? (and where does it stop? I've heard III is the last of the decent Halloween's, excluding RZ's remake)

This is the $10 bin at Deep Discount DVD and these were most of the DVDs that I'd heard of or thought I might enjoy. You're more than welcome to throw out a bunch of suggestions.

quite a few of those movies are worth watching, of the original list CMIYC is the only one worth owning. (halloween if you're a horror fan though)

you could plow through those movies in a week on netflix though, so i'd agree with the poster who said just get netflix.
