It would take a BBV4L mod to move it back. Once it's shipped it's theirs to move, lock, delete, or let flourish.

With no disrespect intended to anyone, this whole issue is a weird nit. I've never used that useless column to determine whether or not to open a thread. It should just be done away with IMO and replaced with something worthwhile like thumbnails of inline porn.

My point is that 1000 is a ridiculous number to use for this purpose. It would be like polling the site to find out what stakes NL people play and the options being ".05/.10, .10/.25, .25/.50, .50/1+"

Do you oot guys like breed from the same inbred rat or something? Is a differing opinion so hard to have? View counts dont correlate to reply counts unless you want the same filler posts of A++++++ GREAT THREAD BLAH BLAH BLAH

edit: just to add, having view counts also lets me estimate how long a thread has been around, if its new, it its old etc etc. This would be on the same level as PokerTracker removing a useful stat from the HUD.

I have never EVER derived value from the post views column. here or on any other forum. Why should I? It appears I'm not alone in this. And LOL at "OOT guys"...maybe 20% of my posts are in that forum. I also spam ATF, Golf, the Lounge, and Sports pretty relentlessly.

I tried to post this before the other thread got locked. The view counts are really only important to find out if anyone has been reading your post. But above 1K it really doesn't matter. You could make a seperate category of 100K or 1M, but ">1000" looks retarded.

I ran the numbers. 49+/-10 replies per 1000 views. R^2 = 0.59.
