Re: Nittish fold?

Id probably call this. Surely an abc poker player would bet a set on the flop with two hearts and three to a straight out? So I cant see a full house. He could have the higher flush I suppose but I wouldnt think many people would limp utg with just a suited ace(or am I hugely wrong here?).

Bet the flop all the time. I think the river is played well.

No, that wasn't nittish. Board is paired and you have the second nut flush. I'd say definitely a value shove from villain. Do not Call.

Re: Nittish fold?

why are you checking this flop? were you going for a c/r? You're killing anything short of a set and KK or AA w/ the Ah. Bet/3b shove here all day.

checking the turn is pretty strange too. i just bet out and hope to get raised by worse FD's as well as random 2p's, sets, and a lot of other draws that may or may not have completed. a c/r here will get one more bet out of overpair hands, but on a board this drawy, i'm hoping it hit the villain hard and he's raising me so i can get it AI.

river fold is fine. you have a flush, he knows it, and he doesn't care. You don't beat much, but I guess he could be overplaying QJh this way, but that's about it.

Yes I was going for check raise and on turn I figure if I bet he only calling anything he would bet on the turn em I right?

Bet flop. Bet turn. River fold is fine.

He probably would show you 45 if you called.

Re: Nittish fold?

You butchered the flop and turn so much that its irrelivent to comment on the river. But for the record i hate it but fold.

The trick with 100NL FR is to make a hand and bet it. You got half way there.

Pot flop - you are huge here and should build a pot because of it. There is no hand that your drawing dead against here.

Pot turn - that is the money card and because of flop bet your hand is disguised enough to mean you dont have to [censored] around and do anything fancy/stupid.

Bet river and make crying call because villain has shown no strength OR check call the river depending on villain reads - here id check call mainly because of his stack size and the fact he plays pretty straight up - his line shows he isnt scared of a flush so either he has a flush or he just boated. In the heat of the moment id probably chose the bet then puke line on 5th but you should check call imo.
