Funniest shows currently on TV
I'm watching mostly HBO stuff for laughs--Curb and Entourage are pretty funny. The only thing on regular cable that routinely gets me laughing is The Soup. They goof on Tyra Banks in every episode, but most of those are really kind of painful to watch. On the last one that I saw they showed a clip of one of the Olsen twins grinding on some guy. It was pretty gross. Then the host said something about humping a bag of lawn darts. I've been giggling about it for a week.
What else should I be watching? |

Canada has this show called Trailer Park Boys that's sort of like Reno 911 but 2000% funnier. It's funnier than anything on american television right now. It's been going for seven seasons now but us americans will never get to see anything of it on tv because it has too much profanity, drug use and such. Get the DVDs.

Always sunny is on tonight at 10, two 1/2 hour episodes back to back and then reairs those episodes again at 11.

How I Met Your Mother [/ QUOTE ] i opened this thread just to make sure this got mentioned. its genius. at their peaks, plenty of shows stand a chance, but how i met your mother, the office (although it hit a lull last season briefly), and 30 rock bring it more than the rest. one show im sure nobody watched but makes me laugh is: my boys on TBS! |

Basically CBS on Monday night from 8-10 and NBC on Thursday night from 8-10. My favorite is 2 1/2 men.

i likes cartoons:
Metalocalypse, Code Monkeys on G4 are amazing. Adult Swim in general is still fantastic. Agree with OP about the Soup...it's funnier than its ever been. |

[/ QUOTE ] i agree dids. guest stars bring down the show mostly. and a lot of the dialogue seemed forced/off (barney's 12, 6, 3, 1 rant...the mustache stuff (although slightly funny, there wasnt the logic and flow behind it)) and while robin looked hotter than normal, she sorta doesnt fit into the puzzle anymore so im curious how that will pan out. good to know there are other fans of the show though. cant wait for the season 2 dvd next month so i can watch them all in one sitting! |
