Ok folks lines are up for this week

There have been some problems with submitting the picks on the site, since you can go back a re-write over your own selections, there were some complaints about people sabatoging others picks.

So what everyone should do is continue to submit them on the website but also post them in this thread.

The standings are a little messy, so i am going to go back and try to clean everything up and hopefully get a win/loss type standings ready.

I am planning on getting this done after week 4 so we can have updated standings for the first quater of the season.

I should be at +$600 not +$1400, I entered my $400 pick incorrectly, but immediately corrected it and posted the correct pick in the thread.

Falcons ...upset special of the week. Houston is improved but not enough for laying points on the road.

Cardinals ...I think this team is even with or better than the SF team Pitt was favored by 9 over at home last week. Yeah Pitt won that game by 21 but take out the pick 6 and the KO return and SF hung in pretty well. So I'll take the 6 point head start.

Packers ...their strength(passing)matches up with Vikes weak spot(secondary). And I don't see the Vikes doing much scoring against GB's improving D.

Jets ...Buffalo cannot move the ball. If you can't do that you can't score. If you can't score even the dog ass Jets can beat you by 4.

$400 STL/DAL u46 #214

Reasonably keen on this as an actual bet. STL aren't the greatest at controlling the clock, but they'll still be taking their time early. If they fail to score on the first drive or two, I think DAL will close it out pretty convincingly.
If STL do score early, then we're going to have to just take our chance. I think Dallas' spectacular scoring so far has pushed the line up a little higher than it needs to be and it may well turn out come the end of the season that they haven't played anyone of note yet.
14-0 for Dallas early followed by clock munching is our ideal game here I think.

Wait. What? Well this line is rather far out from what I expected, which is of course a sign that I've marked it up incorrectly. However, the point of this competition is to live and die by my own pricing of course so I'm going for the 49ers.
I'd have these two teams pretty much even on a neutral field so I have to take points at home.
Maybe I haven't seen enough of Seattle and they're playing much better than reports and stats seem to imply, but I've seen enough of San Fran that if Seattle are significantly better than them, they're going to be a very good team this year, and I haven't seen any of that at all.

We're into the part where I can't find much I like at all now, but on an entirely square level it feels that it just can't be right to give the Jets points on the road to pretty anyone. They've looked like they've caught some disease from the Mets or something to me.
There was some sign of life from the Bills for 30 mins last week, they'll surely be up for this one as they're not going to get many chances to "impress" at home.
