I'm pretty sure it started as a conjunction of "So Wrong ----> Swong". Lately it has picked up specific definition though. I hate to be the person to break the level, but the term "swongs are one thing" came from a lilholdem AIM chat when he was complaining about running bad, whoever he was talking to told him that they were just swings, and lilholdem replied with the gem "swongs r one thing."
