I'd try and find as much info on the person conducting the interview and say he/she does.

Or else, as people have said have her answer with a person who inspires her (except for a celeb).

I'll be the number two guy here in Scranton in six weeks. How? Name repetition, personality mirroring and never breaking off a handshake. I'm always thinking one step ahead. Like a... carpenter... that makes stairs.

what's the job - that's key.

A person who "inspires" you going to a stockbroker interview will be totally different to someone getting interviewed for the diplomatic core etc. etc.

Um has she considered telling the truth? It's radical I know.

I would go for Fridtjof Nansen, who is like history's coolest guy.

Nice.

If I asked a candidate that question and they said I inspired them it would be a huge negative for them. I would also make them answer again.

"When, after more than one year in the ice it became apparent that Fram would not reach the North Pole, Nansen, accompanied by Hjalmar Johansen (1867–1913), continued north on foot when the Fram reached 84° 4´ N. This was a daring decision, as it meant leaving the ship not to return, and a return journey over drifting ice to the nearest known land some five hundred miles south of the point where they started. Nansen and Johansen started north on March 14, 1895 with three sledges, two kayaks and twenty-eight dogs. On April 8, 1895, they reached 86° 14´ N, the highest latitude then attained. The two men then turned around and started back, and did not find the land they expected at 83°N (it did not exist). In June 1895 they had to use their kayaks to cross open leads of water, and on July 24, they came across a series of islands. Here they built a hut of moss, stones, and snow, and wintered, surviving on walrus blubber and polar bear meat."

This is one of the coolest/insane things imaginable. Its shocking that this same mind could be so amazing in science, politics, and huminatarianism.

I think I'm going with the guy who got trapped while rock climbing, hacked his own arm off with a pocket knife and then hiked several miles for help. Sometimes life throws crazy situations at you and you just need to put your head down and get the job done by whatever means necessary.

If you get a chance you should watch the BBC documentary, 'The Ice King', in the Voyages of Discovery series. It tells the story of his polar exploration so much better than wiki.

Nah, say "The Iceman"

Why? Because he shows sometimes life throws crazy situations at you and you just need to put your head down and get the job done by whatever means necessary.

I kinda thought I'd get responses like this - Lol !

basically, there are other people that have been in the interview already and they all said family etc...it sounds cheesy albeit the truth....

I wasn't looking for specific people...But personally love K-Fed and Matusow's Chest hair...but basically how you would approach a question like this...

Possibly douchey and solely based on my viewing of Pirates of Silicon Valley, but my choice in a professional context is Bill Gates. Massive balls. He shaped the world around him, didn't let the world shape him.

Finish degree at prestigious school? [censored] that, I've got an idea.

Sell DOS before buying it? [censored] that, no time and opportunity's knocking?

Macintosh, eh? [censored] that, here's Windows, and I can get it in front of more people.
