DSI Sportsbook

I use DSI sports books as my book. I went to the withdrawl options and everyone had some type of fee associated with it. And each fee was a MINIMUM of 70 dollars.

Is this standard with neteller gone? Does anyone use DSI and can give me some perspective? 75 dollars wont break me up but its hard enough to win vs the juice and this feels like they are stealing.

This is somewhat answered by the second question in the forum FAQ for which the answer is basically "Hey, go read SBR":

From the SBR entry:
http://sbr.sportsbookreview.com/Revi...k/default.aspx

Most common Complaint: Above average cost for transfers

Cost of Withdrawals:

For US Customers:

* Check
- $60 fee
- $4,900 max withdrawal
* MoneyGram
- $1,500 max
- Fees vary per amount

I wonder if you can transfer it to matchbook. Are not they a member of betchris? If so, that may be an option.

Re: DSI Sportsbook

Good luck with transferring they make those fees up as they go along. I'm not kidding either, if you call and they tell you a fee $50 or less transferring do it right then and there before you get off the phone.

For larger bettors their early lines are great but beyond that there is not much reason to use them. I deposit one bet at a time there to start the football season and then cash out or transfer my full balance once a year in April.

DSI is laying me almost even money 180 to 170 on a ten point three team teaser. I can basically remove the line for the big three games. Is this a good bet? (Dall, SD, Indy) If no, which game scared you as an outright upset?

The 10 points would only get Dallas to -3. So that one would concern me the most.

Re: DSI Sportsbook

I have been researching these ridiculous teaser plays. For instance can anyone give me some more info on sweetheart teasers. I tried calling DSI about it but they are clueless.
Also, by doing these larger than normal teasers, is the only downside the fact that you are not getting correct odds and is this a huge problem.

For example, lets say you do a ten point three team teaser. Lets say you should get 3 to 1 on your money, but the book is laying you 2 to 1. However, since there is a higher likelhood of you covering with these extra points is it ok to sacrifice true odds in favor of higher probability you win the bet?

There is this game called roulette. I never got a chance to see it in person though. The closest I got was being 5 people deep in a crowd at the table betting cranberries on 25 out of the 36 numbers. They were winning so often!

The next table over... these guys were real smart. They were betting on 34 numbers at a time and they won even more than the people at the first table I was trying to watch.

I hope I can actually get a chance to play this myself one day.

Look, I understand the -EV of 5,6, 7 team teasers.

I am asking specifically about sweetheart teasers and 10 pt three team 1:1 payout teasers.

If you could bet on Dall, SD and INDY this week, with a ten point teaser, and bet 500 and win 450 would this be +EV bet? Are the odds fair enough? SHould I need to win 550?

This is, uh, just about the only problem with every bad bet ever made.

Re: DSI Sportsbook

OK here is a concrete example. My book offers a 4 team, 15 pt. teaser. You can bet on the three games and one over/under.

Would you do this bet:

500 would be an average amount of win/loss each weekend.
You can only make one bet this weekend.

You bet 1250 to win 500 if

Hou/Tex over 24.5
Jets +11.5
SF +17
SD +3.5
NYG +18

Re: DSI Sportsbook

Let me phrase my question this way.

Last Sunday Night Dallas played the Bears. At the time of the game I bet 300 bucks on the Dallas ML and obviously won. I think I wont like 450 or something.
Now, I personally felt very strong that the Boys would win and almost all books had Dallas by +3.
Now, lets say I could only find Dallas by -1 at my book.
Should I still want to make the bet feeling the boys would win me cash, or not because it was widely avaialable at +3 and so would be getting bad value for my money?

You're smarter than everyone else, so obviously bet the 'Boys at any price.

Re: DSI Sportsbook

If you see value at Cowboys -1 then bet it.

In theory if you are unable to lineshop at other books and you have the true line at greater than -1 (-110) then sure it's a "good bet". But in reality, lineshopping is a huge part of being a winning capper and you probably put too much weight into your own opinions when looking for value in a line.

Re: DSI Sportsbook

So would this be a good book to deposit on? I was talking to support and the ask me for my password, i did not give it to them it seem very sketchy. It clearly says a free check every 30 days. (which is more then enough for me)

One more question.
When you hit 2500pts in sports betting it says you get one free payout. Does this mean i can cash out without paying a fee if i spend those points? (so lets say 2 check in 30 days)

Re: DSI Sportsbook

DSI is an affiliate to Cris AFAI, if their loyalty points works the same way the only free cashout you get for those 2500 points is by courier check.
