Re: top two with lots of action
What it looks like to me is that the BB flopped a set of twos and wanted you to call on the flop, but now that he's seen the action, wants to get more of everybody's money and abandons his idea of slowplaying.
SB I don't know, I think you are ahead of him most of the time, he could have a strong draw and wants to fold out other hands, but BB scares me there. |

Re: top two with lots of action
the pot is huge IMO we just have to pay and find out
|
Re: top two with lots of action
One of many draws, KQ/AK/KT.. pretty much anything.
We may be beat, but I'm never folding this. |
Re: top two with lots of action
You are getting like 4.5-1 here or something, that's more odds than you need v a set of 2s anyways (you are 21% to win v a set)

Re: top two with lots of action
As played you have to call.
But KJo UTG is ugly as hell. |
Re: top two with lots of action
Easy shove.
|
Re: top two with lots of action
[censored] easy all in. Odds are way too good to fold.

Re: top two with lots of action

Hero folds [/ QUOTE ] FYP Seriously, raising with easily dominated hands OOP is well, if not the easiest way to lose money, its damn near close. I'll probably get blasted for this, but as played, I would have to fold here. Great odds, and great hand, aside as it certainly looks like you're beat with this insane action. Also, with two cards to come, you have only a four out draw if up against a set, and four out redraw if up against a flush draw that hits on the turn. I thought the point of this game was getting it in as a favorite, not moving in with good, but second best hands. I think designating this an auto shove is inconsistent with good play. I'm not saying it definitely isn't a shove, just that I'm more conservative than most, and would err on the side of caution here. I mean, don't we have to evaluate the relative value of our hand based on the action? That is not a rhetorical question. |
Re: top two with lots of action
dont hold back, get the stuff in there

Re: top two with lots of action
ya i know you guys would love pre. most of the time i fold but i hadnt played a hand in a while and sometimes i raise.
i was thinking SB prob had some type of combo draw and then when BB called i put him on 22 or possibly some idiot with a flush draw but not likely. i figured i was behind but the odds were so good i shoved. |
Re: top two with lots of action
5:1 with what amounts to 4 outs to the stone nuts and a backdoor flush? Yah call.
|
Re: top two with lots of action
i guess i could say the results huh.
SB has 22 BB has JJ |
