What do you usually expect someone to have here?
Overpair? Top two pair? Overplayed A9? Aggressive Openender? Other two pair (including 4)? |

[/ QUOTE ] on paper you can't really fold this correctly 95+% of the time. At the table well then thats something you have to decide, but this forum isn't going to be able to do it for you. |

call, shove the turn [/ QUOTE ] Any particular reason why you think this is better than just shoving now? Less scary? |
Re: NL100: Set Gets Check-Reraised on Dry Board
shoving or calling and shoving the turn, either play is good.

Re: NL100: Set Gets Check-Reraised on Dry Board
I would prefer shoving now, as there are many cards I don't want to see

Re: NL100: Set Gets Check-Reraised on Dry Board
Calling the turn will extract more from a lot of hands that will fold to a push, and won't fold anything you beat. There's almost nothing you fear on the turn, so you're not risking a lot.
Unfortunately, a 7 is one of the things you do fear. Expect to win 50% of the time now, instead of 90%. Your stack is 2/3 the pot? Push, regardless of the action before you. |
Re: NL100: Set Gets Check-Reraised on Dry Board
Bets into me for $25. I shove all in, he has 97. Still like my line I think...
