Re: Stars $27 - AJ, 4th Level
I couldn't find a fold here esp against a bad player. I would prob ship on the turn.

Re: Stars $27 - AJ, 4th Level
bet more on the flop and more on the turn. by the time you get to the river (assuming you have not pushed the turn) you will have no problem calling your last 300 chips getting 12:1 or so.

Re: Stars $27 - AJ, 4th Level
How much more?? There was 750 in the pot when I bet 300. So 450-500??

Re: Stars $27 - AJ, 4th Level
450 on flop, and pot commit yourself on the turn.

Re: Stars $27 - AJ, 4th Level
Huh???? I ship it on the turn even against someone whom I respect. And I pot in on the flop btw.

Re: Stars $27 - AJ, 4th Level
Bet 500 on flop and then get it all in on the turn.

Re: Stars $27 - AJ, 4th Level
Raise more PF or fold. You have no room to get cute. What is up with that flop bet? You need to bet at least 500+. The turn bet is even worse. What kind of odds are you trying to give him? Seriously, bet your hand. Then you fold on the river. If you play SNG's like this (fearing sets and flushes) you have no shot. I don't mean to sound harsh but, wow this is scary. Good luck to ya.

Re: Stars $27 - AJ, 4th Level
All in on turn, ug man even river is tough. You really think he had q10? I think in this sng u made the wrong fold q10 is so unlikely here for him to call 2 bets with on flop,turn..though u played the hand badly the only thing i can see is a set of 3/5s which in a sng u really dont worry about with two pair in this spot.

Re: Stars $27 - AJ, 4th Level
more on the flop! at least 450, prob 500. do it up on the turn, im certainly not folding.

Re: Stars $27 - AJ, 4th Level
As played I would call the river and expect to be good about 70% of the time.
But like the others said, bet slightly more on flop and put most/all of your stack in on the turn. |

Re: Stars $27 - AJ, 4th Level
I would raise to 400 before flop and then bet 3/4 pot on the flop and turn. I think it's unlikely he has two hearts and if he had A K he probably would have reraised you preflop.

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think you have to bet that much before the flop, you make it a lot harder to fold if one of the blinds wakes up with a hand and AJ is not usually in good shape then I agree that 300 was light on the flop, at least 400, pot committing yourself, as other people have said, is a good idea, because it makes you river decision easier...to be honest I'm not sure there should be a river anyway, as others have said, shove that turn |
Re: Stars $27 - AJ, 4th Level
i think its played ok against that sort of villain expept that you should bet a bit bigger on flop and turn and dont fold the river, he has worse two pair here a lot, might even be chasing some kind of draw and is now trying to make a bluff, i really think you re good here almost always.
