100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
This may be super standard, but what kind of a range do you put the villain on here. This is an easy call right? Does anyone fold, if so, why?
Villain is 21/19/3 over a smallish sample size. No other reads. Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $104.00 Hero (BB): $96.50 UTG: $97.25 MP: $99.50 CO: $95.05 BTN: $79.55 Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG calls $1.00, MP folds, CO calls $1.00, 2 folds, Hero raises to $5.50, UTG calls $4.50, CO folds Flop: ($12.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $8.00, UTG calls $8.00 Turn: ($28.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, UTG bets $11.00, Hero calls $11.00 River: ($50.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, UTG bets $28.00, Hero ? |
Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
I would usually just bet the turn again.
If I check, it would be to check/raise. As played call river obv. |
Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
Bet turn
Bet river Call raise Consider fold 2 push with read |
Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
Bet more OOP PF. Bet pot on flop with flush draw and (unlikely) straight draw. Bet turn and bet river.
I think villain will show you 99-QQ a lot or may just fold. A played you should definitely be calling the river. Although the small bets look suspicious, I think villain will have a smaller PP or a missed draw often enough. |
Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
hes a bad tag with 33, 55-TT, whiffament
or like A4 I guess. just call. |
Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
Def call river.
|
Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
You certainly have to call the way you played it. bet turn.
|
Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
just wondering, the limp UTG from a reasonable player seems to indicate pair to me...so what's good/bad about crai on the turn?? i know he might check behind, but his aggro isn't too low...

Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
^^but if he had a mid pair, he would prolly be folding that to us after we bet the turn...at least i think that's i figure these types do more often than not...so i think crai to get a little extra from him
|
Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
I still don't see the point of raising, and I think we get a call fairly often if we lead.
|
Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
This looks fine if the guy is fairly aggro, call river.
By default I'm just leading turn again to charge unimproved pocket pairs. It's a huge part of his range, he might check behind a lot, and the river could bring plenty of cards that kill your potential action. |
Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
this hand is butchered
bet turn, and if you check the river, its to induce a bluff from missed clubs |
Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
we have the best hand here almost always judging by his retarded bet sizes so i just shove and let him call me with whatever he wants to.

Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
does $22 sound good on the turn?
i didn't c/r because i thought this was a WA/WB situation (could be way off?) and only better hands call the turn raise. If he calls turn bet, and the same river card falls, is c/c the appropriate play? I don't think we're deep enough to b/f.... |
Re: 100NL: KK....rivers an easy call...right?
as played c/r all in on river. You played your hand very weakly to his weak bets. His river bet looks like a weak value bet.
usually easiest to just keep betting tho obviously. I can't think of any hands that a 21/19 limps UTG tho. Either your sample size is too small or he misclick limped. |

[/ QUOTE ] 9 on flop, 24ish on turn, stick in the last 60 on the river, let him call with some PP, if you check the river you have to call whatever he bets |

*grunchin*
play is def passive on turn, also you can b/f if villain has a set, trips. At the same time, its the best way to make it look like youre on a draw and induce from middle pairs. Playing it slow is good every once in a while amirite |
