I don't golf. I don't even know what the different sticks are. I do get to drive around a golf cart and be a beverage cart girl at a country club!! And I get to wear a pink and white polo!!!

So, please give me tips about what you like and don't like about your beverage cart girl, and what I should know. Keep in mind that I have to wear capris and an issued polo.

I only hired great looking beverage girls when I ran a golf course. And yes, even though I was 12-15 years older than them I wanted to fork every one of them.

serious answer fluff,

make sure you drive the cart "against the grain" iykwim. drive from green to tee box, if that makes any sense. you want to do this because you won't have to "chase" groups, since you'll be headed in opposite directions. also, it's safer because you won't have your back to the golfers hitting shots, so you won't get a golf ball in the back in the head.

oh and you should have no problems making sick bank. rich dirty old men love flirting with cute bubbly girls like yourself.

im an avid golfer. having a cute beverage girl flirt or even smile when you are struggling during a round is great. heck even if you are not struggling its nice to see a cute chick because frankly you don't see too many chicks on the golf course. some basic things that stick out are to never interrupt while we are in the process of swinging a club. try to stop at least enough away from us to not distract us. always smile during a transaction, and make small talk with us, it makes us feel better. and we usually will talk about a cute beverage chick for many holes. sometimes its the highlight of our round. also, bend over alot,thats also nice [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] also, i have seen many beverage cart girls boobs, seriously. those are usually at golf outings, which almost have a bar atmosphere to them. but good times none the less. oh, and i always tip well! I've never waited but this is the one thing I remember.

NEVER ask "do you want change?", always say "I'll be right back with your change." They are effectively asking the same thing but the latter is so much better for tips.

Is there some reason you cross-post all your threads here and in BBV4L? Why not Legislation too? Or maybe the Magazine forum, I hear they like golf in between obsessing about every article. Besides, if you're gonna x-post do it in the golf forum, considering the topic and all. Maybe I'm just bitter you didn't do that...

Anyway, I'm sure your course will make you go against the grain, this won't be up to you. That is, you're driving against the flow of traffic. You see more customers this way, and see them coming. I can only think of one country club in Phoenix at which they drive with the flow, per the members' request for whatever strange reason.

You'll do fine, I'm sure. I tip the crap out of the cart girls and hit on them while doing so. I struck out with both last weekend but the first one was only 20 so I was merely practicing neg hits on her to warm up for the chick on the back nine, who was 28 and hotter anyway. Didn't end well for me but whatever.

One thing I'd suggest that you totally won't get if you don't golf: don't just motor forward like a spaz. You'll piss off a lot of golfers if they're set up over a shot and you come roaring up on them like a dumbass. This isn't a regular occurrence so I suspect courses actually advise their staff to wait for the group to finish hitting before moving forward. But when it does happen it's super annoying and distracting.

By the way, I usually smuggle a handle of Jack Daniel's onto the course and either also smuggle soda too or just buy it from you. Don't take it personally. I don't feel like paying $6 for a goddamned Jack & Diet Coke.

All I care about is not interfering with my shots, so don't motor around if anybody in the near vicinity is about to hit. Other than that you really can do no wrong.

Once course I play has a sign on the side of the beverage cart that reads "Inappropriate Comments are Grounds for Eviction from the Premises." I always thought that this amounted to an out-right admission that they only higher hot as hell cart girls. Which they do.

Cart girls always remind me of that Simpsons episode where Homer fills out the ticket for the car raffle:
Homer: Do you come with the car?
Model: Oh you, tee hee hee.

Next Random Guy: Do you come with the car?
Model: Oh you, tee hee hee.

I didn't read the replies but I have been in the golf business for years.

When you drive up to the golf cars on the course and the players are all in the fairway start filling their cups with ice before they ask.

You don't really have to flirt, just smile and be nice.

Ask how things are going, I hate when the girls just sit in the cart and look at you like they don't know what they are there for.

This one is obvious but Ive seen it screwed up plenty. When you give change instead of giving say a ten and a 5 give 2 fives and 5 ones. Your tips will be much better this way. Don't feel like its begging because everyone knows you aren't making $100k out there and you are expecting tips.

Obviously don't drive, talk or move things around in your cart while people are hitting.

I'll think of some others.

This is almost foolproof. As long as you don't tell the golfers they have small penises or cough loudly during their shots you should be fine. Wear tight clothes. Profit.

there is one really cute one at the course I usually play. I tip them all the same regardless of looks though. Something like 50-100% tip and I assume that it's kind of the norm at a country club. So it must be a pretty good gig.
