The_Main\'s Full Ring Challenge
 

OK, I've gotten a lot of input from this thread: ( http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...0#Post11935783), and I'm ready to run this event.

To participate in this event, you must transfer $20 to "the_main (seoul)" on pokerstars by Monday, september 10th. (note: the majority of the EV from this event comes from playing every event in order to win the championship). The first event will be Sept.11/07.

All tournaments will be run on pokerstars.

We will be running 2 events a week for 2 weeks. 8 events in total. All events are on Tue/Thur at 20:00EST. If this time is terrible for you, you are best to not sign up.

The events are as follows (as voted on by you):

Point system:
One of the easiest and most popular poker tournament points systems is to award one point for each player in the tournament. In a 20 player tournament, first place gets 20 points, second place gets 19 points, third place gets 18 points ... all the way down to last place who gets 1 point. The more players in the tournament, the more points the winners will be awarded. 5 Extra points will be awarded for winning the tournament.

The person with the most points at the end of ALL tournamnets will recieve ALL of the entry fees. (i.e if there are 20 entries, the winner will recieve $400 [$20x20])

All events will be on the Tournament/Private tab on star. Passwords will be distributed to all those who pay the entry fee.

For refernece: to play every tournament and pay the entryfee will cost a total of $64USD.

edit: I'll probbaly throw in an overlay if there are a lot fo microballas in this. Like an extra $25 or $50 or something.

Also, custom title for winner? Something like "I spent 2 weeks playing against 2+2'ers, owned them, and all I got was 2 buy ins."

also, 2 pl omaha events (yea one is h/l but still) and only 1 nl event besides the HU...

Maybe ditch the pl omaha HL and instead either another fr nl or 6 max nl? Afterall, we are a FR nl forum.

Wow, I'd love to play but 20 EST is 2 AM where I live. Not that staying up all night is that unusual, but I have to think about that first unfortunately...Though that sounds like great fun!

I echo the thoughts, the times picked aren't very friendly to those outside the US. Though i'm probably still going to play, as they shouldn't take too long.

How are the times that bad? I'm in the U.S. and they work perfectly (after work or school or whatever) and before its late. The_Main is halfway across the world in Korea and they work for him too. Where do you guys live? Pokerboy, play nights for once.

Everyone who wants to play any event ships the $20 right? If thats not the case then the point system is flawed. I'll be shipping before it starts up assuming more than like 4 people play since I don't want to commit to playing all these times if its gonna be a 1 table sng for like no money.
