Favorite Foxwoods dealers???

Who are the favorite foxwoods dealers or better dealers down there. My least favorite would have to be Max from the 6pm shift to 2am

This thread is going to suck already, I can just tell. There are like 500+ poker dealers at Fwoods, not including the ones from the pits that rotate through during the insanely busy time.

i like paul (heavy set guy), i think kenneth (looks like gus hansen) and jacquline.

anyone remember frenchie. what a fun dealer he was

Re: Favorite Foxwoods dealers???

Frenchie plays Omaha on occasion, and sat the last time I played Horse at FW a couple months ago. He is GREAT to have in the game.

My personal favorite dealer is Wilson. He's always in a great mood, deals plenty fast, and his sports-announcer running commentary seems to induce action-- especially when someone raises in a headsup pot and he swivels back to the original bettor and says "Raaaaise ya!!!!"

jacqueline?? ( big black woman who works grave shift)is the biggest bitch on the planet, if she kept her own tips she wouldnt make minimum wage.

One of the best is Ricky. Very thin, balding with a pony tail. Works day shift. Quick and very competent, keeps the game moving. Good sense of humor. Alot of the old timers (been there from year 1 or 2) are very good. Little Steve (looks like monopoly man), Jaqueline, Harry, also come to mind.

frenchy

and that uber hot cambodian (i believe chick) she blows my mind whenever i see her.

at the end of day 1 last year in the wpf i came out and frenchy was there w/ some overdone blonde broad. he was decked out to the 9s and look hillarious. full on hair, and about 7 gold rings on, his shirt half buttoned. i said hello- he introduced me to his wife and these 2 were MADE for each other.

Are you sure that is not Sam (male dealer)?

Seriously though I know who you are refering to and she is smoking!!!

Least favorite's gotta be "huge hands Vic". Dayshift. He told us that he got his hand caught in the auto shuffler and bled on the cards, and felt. I believe it as he can't deal for $^!+ and he has gigantic hands that seem to work independent of his brain.

Edited: This post is in response to Willie's post. Oops......

Another vote for Ricky, that guy just plain rules!

I also have a secret crush on Jennifer, but was shot down repeatedly once at 2/5NL while she dealt me a hot streak.
"If I win this pot, I'm taking you out to dinner!" "No, sorry, you're not." I won the pot anyway

I like Ismail.

The guy has an awesome attitude and keeps the players at the table smiling/laughing, and he has a good general demeanor about him. Honestly can't think of too many other dealers who enjoy their work as much as him.

Guenivere was my favorite, but it looks like some other guy got there first.

Closely following her are Hungarian girl (Mayorah?) the Asian girl (Jensri?)and the blonde (Chaunte?)

Also I give props to the 40ish brunette on the graveyard shift who is always joking with the players, I think she is a Catherine.

For the guys, there is one Jamaican looking guy who has a really English name on his tag, 'Williams?' makes me wonder if Foxwoods just pulls the name tags out of a bag.

Re: Favorite Foxwoods dealers???

Good thing this is not a spelling test. I believe her name is closer to Genevieve. Wilson is Haitan, not Jamaican but he does receive an A++ for personality. When he first started he was a terrible dealer but he has improved a good bit.

HLS2k6 09-06-2007 05:46 PM

Re: Favorite Foxwoods dealers???

Yep, Genevieve is as you spelled it, and Wilson has gotten tons better. He has energy in spades and keeps the game moving.

On an aside, playing Omaha regularly really lets you see who the weakest dealers are-- sometimes its 2 or 3 minutes to read the winning hand(s) and another 4 or 5 to divide the pot.

Given that this thread will likely segue into "least favorite," there is or was one dealer who would announce, EVERYTIME a pot would get heads up in a LHE game, "Heads up! Structured No Limit!" Then he'd have to explain to whoever sat down since he last said it what the hell he means (no cap) and brag that he invented the term. Haven't seen him in like 6 months, but that guy was incredibly slow and annoying.

Guenivere was an old joke we had. For the rest, I knew I was butchering the spelling of their names.

With Omaha, I always assumed the players explained the pots to them.

On that note, add Edward to the list of good ones. Last week he made fun of me for trying to run the 5-10 limit game. But it was habit, we the regulars have to do that about half of the time.

Re: Favorite Foxwoods dealers???

Ricky as mentioned before is a true pro. Nice guy too.

Jenna is fun to flirt with (and look at). She gets hit on so many times that she has adopted sophisticated countermeasures.

Champagne deals well enough, but her strength is that she follows table conversation closely and has a biting sarcasm.

Ricky is fun. William (I think, big huge white guy, deep voice) is real good. Thomas (older guy) isn't bad. William (30s, white, dark goatee) is decently fun and keeps it moving.

Jensri blew my mind, too. Wow. New girl Lisha is stunning as well, but she seemed to be in a bad mood on Saturday. Tara isn't bad to look at either, and she has a nice pitch.

I cannot wait until they go to non-pooled tips.

No. They vote soon, and if it passes, it will start in December.

It's possible, but there's a lot of 1-2 tables. I'm sure we know many of the same characters. I'm there maybe twice a month on average, mostly on Saturdays, playing 1-2, very rarely 2-5. I'm a tall (6'2") very skinny blond guy.

Or basically every male under the age of 30 at Foxwoods that plays 1/2 or 2/5.
