NFL 6pt 2 teamers

Are there any books left that deal these at EV rather than -110?

Other than 5 Dimes??

As far as I know -110 is the norm for some time.

Just done some research for ya Yellow indicates the best price available for that kind of teaser.

I get two team 6 pt teasers at 5Dimes at 100. And a tie isn't a loss, it is a push. Why do people not like 5Dimes for these teasers?

Yes, the Greek does still take US customers (unless they've changed very recently).

by "screw around" do you mean that they try to bait you into taking -EV wongs by posting the straight bet spreads at scewed odds.

i.e im seeing lots of Atlanta +2.5 (+100), Miami +2.5 (+105)

Teasing these wong styl would not be +EV as these are not the true lines...correct?

Well, this is an interesting week. They have screwed around with just about every line in the vicinity of the 3 and the 7 (outside of cincy/balt) but they dont seem to mess with the dogs NEARLY as much as they screw with the favs. You can pretty much expect almost all 7-8.5 point favs (and even some 6.5) to be set at 9+, making them unwongable.

Some of these could still be +EV. A lot of the lines where you tease OFF the key numbers are still +EV, while the ones where you tease ONTO a key number are not (or at least less EV than betting on the spread.)

This seems to be a "pick your spots" week. The only true wong up seems to be DET/BALT (although that wouldnt be available at 5dimes.) 5 dimes seems to only screw with their dogs by a 1/2 or at most 1 point. I have no idea if a half point is more valuable than 10 cents, hopefully someone else can chime in there. My guess is it would be more valuable than a 1/2 point and less valuable than a point (on average.)

If I'm not mistaken teasing off or on to a key number is not a true Wong, the tease has to go accross a key number.

What I'm trying to get at is - when judging whether a spread is wongable or not does one need to use the "true line" to juge. Or, is it as black and white as just moving the number that a book has posted regardless of what another book has the -110 line set at?

Re: NFL 6pt 2 teamers

I think what 5Dimes does is they typically offer adjusted prices when you select which team to bet. Well, if the team is close to a key number the "main" spread is actually the adjusted spread, such that when you go to tease the game you get a bad number.

For example, the Titans were -7 this week, yet 5Dimes had the main spread at an adjust -8 so when you went to tease the game their system used -8 instead of -7.

Re: NFL 6pt 2 teamers

It depends, I think.

For favourites, I choose teams base on moneyline rather than the spread. For dogs, I look at what price I'm getting at +2.5 on side. Also, I take line movement into consideration.
