Terrible things you\'ve done to your siblings

I've always really enjoyed witnessing or hearing about a good sibling rivalry. There's just something about brothers/sisters committing atrocities on each other that makes me laugh. When I was younger my sister and I would fight all the time. Whenever she really pissed me off I would secretly scrape her toothbrush alongside the walls of the toilet. This probably happened well over 100 times, and she remains clueless to this day. So, what's the worst thing you've done to a sibling of yours, or if it's especially good, something terrible you've heard about other siblings doing to each other.

I got my sister addicted to coke. She called me a couple nights ago asking if I was proud that she hadn't used it in 4 days.

A younger Dids (like 12) became upset that his sister changed the chanel on him and punched her in the gut.

I was not a very happy or well adjusted kid and I had a horrible tempter. 18 years later at least my temper is under control.

Hmm sorry.

How about.

One time i used a spoon like a catapult to shoot yogurt in her face!

Haha, so were the two of you fighting over the remote/channel previous to the punch in the gut or were you like silently watching then she just casually came in the room, changed the channel without any fuss, then you slowly became more and more pissed about the whole situation until you clocked her in the stomach? Because this story is a lot funnier if it's the latter.

I was a 9-year-old Red Sox fanatic watching the 1978 Sox vs. Yankees 1-game playoff for the division title. (This is in the years prior to the wildcard so the loser goes home for the season.)

Bucky Dent swings and lofts a fly ball to left field. My sister chooses exactly this moment to stand directly in front of the television. I got up and kicked her as hard as I could smack dab right between her legs. I’ve felt bad about it ever since. I feel better now because at least I didn’t get her hooked on coke.

Side note: one of my buddies in middle school got his little brother into huffing glue.

LOL, I used to beat the [censored] out of my little brother. I'd try out different wrestling moves on him, such as the Lion Tamer, the Tonkin Death Grip, and my personal favorite, the Pump Handle Slam.

Also, I once gave him an atomic wedgy. I've never been so proud of myself. Atomic wedgies come once in a lifetime.

I have something that my brother did to me.

We were fighting and I shoved him, causing his head to slam against the door. He acted like he was unconscious and then went into shock. I started screaming like a little girl and picked up the phone to call 911.

Yeah... he got me good that time.

On a related note, I also believe it's fair for me to yell at my kids whenever one of my teams has a bad loss. After a really bad loss, I like to kick the dog too.

Days. The best thing about it was that I got him on our front lawn, so basically the whole neighborhood saw the glorious spectacle.

Re: Terrible things you\'ve done to your siblings

My brother (eight years older than me) used to babysit my neighbor and I. He would do this thing where if I went upstairs to bother him, he'd pretend he was morphing into a werewolf and chase us down the stairs. He was probably 17 at the time. He would do this face morphing thing and make these awful noises and chase us down the stairs (from the third floor).

One day, Ian (my neighbor) and I were playing with these two golf clubs my grandmother had gotten me as a gift. There was a putter and an iron. I went up to "stir" the werewolf, and Ian waited downstairs with both golf clubs.

My brother chased me to the first floor, Ian handed me my club and we both swung and hit him square in the balls. His face turned from a werewolf to a horrible mix of shock, confusion and utter pain.

I should note: we hit him with the handle side. Still, that was the final appearance of the angry werewolf.

Re: Terrible things you\'ve done to your siblings

My little brother was always a huge dick to me. My parents would spoil him and treat me like crap. They would go out, not tell me they were leaving, and buy him things, but rarely for me. He would gloat about it constantly. If I ever lost my temper and hit him, he would run crying to my parents and they would beat me. While they beat me, he would watch from 10ft away, make faces and laugh.

One day I came home from school and saw they had gotten him a puppy. I've always been a huge animal lover and wanted some sort of pet - but especially a dog - as long as I can remember. He would never let me play with him and kept him in his room. A few days later, the puppy died after drinking from an antifreeze laden water bowl. I'll never forget the look on his face when he came home and saw the puppy laying on the floor.

Re: Terrible things you\'ve done to your siblings

13 years old and I was given my first rifle, a Marlin .22, for my birthday. Quite naturally, I was shooting everything in sight plus some stuff I probably couldn't see.

So I am on the front porch randomly shooting stuff while my sister is pestering me. She is 9 at the time. Anyway, about 50 yards down the road, a jackrabbit bounds onto the road and stops in the middle. Bad day for the rabbit. Of course I shot him. And with all the cool I could muster up, I looked at my sister and said, "Cathy, sorry but there wont be an Easter this year. I just killed the Easter bunny." Before I knew it, she ran off in tears wailing. My father beat me for making my sister cry and for randomly shooting stuff though I don't know what he expected when he gave me the rifle. My sister could not be consoled and everytime she started to cry about the Easter rabbit being dead, I got a beating. No one could convince her that I was full of [censored]. I swear that went on over two weeks. I got at least a dozen beatings over that.

Edited to add: How many thought after reading the first line that I shot my sister?

1. I once told my kid brother that a jar of jalapenos was actually a jar of pickles and ate a couple to prove it to him. (Hot foods have never been a problem for me, but he's always been very sensitive to them.) Hilarity ensued. I got in trouble.

2. When I was very young...I think I was 8 and he was 4, I told him that he had a twin sister that died at birth. And I NEVER TOLD HIM IT WASN'T TRUE. I forgot all about it, but he never did, and he said something to my mom about it 5 years later, and then he learned it was all a lie.

I was the oldest of seven, with six younger sisters, so there was always a victim for my torture.A couple of my favorites were, I would line them up on the couch and throw this bean bag type Kermit the Frog doll with these big hard plastics eyes as hard as I could at them. If the eyes would hit them just right....Oh the fun!!
I would lock them in the closet pretending they were turkeys
being cooked and every ten minutes I would open the door and see if they were done by sticking a turkey baster up their ass.(clothes on, of course) oh I got my balls beat in for that one when my mom heard them screaming.

I can't think of anything super cruel that I've done, but one time I remember putting a remote-controlled car into my sister's hair (the wheels, obv) and then making it go. My parents had to cut out a big chunk of her hair to get it out. I still don't know why I even did that.

I really feel like I let my little brother off easy now. Whoever mentioned that using a spoon like a catapault to shoot yogurt...one time, my brother and I were just sitting at the table, eating ice cream, and I decided I would do exactly that. He didn't do anything to bring it on, I just had this moment of clarity where it felt like I had to do it. I nailed him exactly in the ear. Possibly the greatest "athletic" accomplishment of my life.

I still have no idea why I did it.

Re: Terrible things you\'ve done to your siblings

man, i was horrible to my brother and sister. i am the middle child. from the age of 7-14 my life pretty much revolved around trying to make the two of them angry. i never did anything really bad physical. mostly just a constant stream of irritations and psychological manipulations. i can remember sitting in a shopping mall with my brother and throwing stuff at people who walked by and when they turned around I would reprimand him like he was the one who did it. I'd call my sisters friends on the phone and hang up. Id call our own number and tell her that it was her friend on the line. She was pretty violent. She used to beat the crap out of me, although I enjoyed that too because it meant she'd get in trouble. She stabbed me once with a knife and I have an inch long scar on my arm.

I also used to severely overreact when my brother would inflict anything resembling physical harm on me, just to watch my dad chase after him in rage. One time my dad chased him up to his room and tore his pull-up bar out of the door frame. There was never any abuse, thank god - he would calm himself down by breaking our toys. The atari, my WWF wrestling ring, etc. Then he'd replace it months later when nobody wanted it anymore.

Two older brothers, 13 and 11, I am about 6. They never let me hang with them. One day they are in the backyard having a great time tossing pea gravel at each other. I decide I want to play and pick up 3 lb. rock and toss it at the closest sibbling. It hit my oldest brother square in the head and cracked his skull.

I am 42 now and they still dont let me hang with them.

Re: Terrible things you\'ve done to your siblings

My brother and I used to scrap a ton as kids, but we never really did (or remember anyway, maybe he has some stories) anything particularly cruel to each other.

There is one story that fits this thread though. My brother and I were Tecmo Super Bowl addicts. We would go through season after season - him as the 49ers, me with the Bills - and always end up in the Super Bowl together. I don't know if I just had a better understanding of the game or if the Bills were marginally better than the '9ers, but I never legitimately lost a Super Bowl game to him.

One day I told him I'd let him win the next Super Bowl game. I don't remember if I was being nice or if he threatened to stop playing with me or what. Regardless, we play the game, and I'm no chump, I'm not just going to lay down for him and let him squash me 72-0, amirite? So I make a game of it and keep it close.

Sometime in the second half, I get an urge. I'm not taking a dive for this chump. F*ck it, I'm going deep. I'm throwing in the endzone to Andre Reed and James Lofton. Thurman Thomas is taking off tackle runs to the endzone. When the final gun sounds, Montana, Rice, and Craig collapse to their knees in disbelief...

...and my brother starts crying and tattles on me. Whatever, son, I'm headed to Disneyland.

Re: Terrible things you\'ve done to your siblings

When I was 5-6 I had some scissors and my sister asked for them as I was opening and closing them. I continued to do it as she went for them. I cut the tip of her finger off.

Again when I was 5-6. After my mother would bake a cake us kids would take a butter knife and scrape the leftover cake off the bottom of the pan. We were fighting over the rest of the junk at the bottom one time and she grabben the knife, while I was holding the part you're supposed to hold, and I yanked it from her cutting her hand fairly bad. But not bad enough for stitches.

I once as a joke pointed an unloaded gun at my dog (right after I saw the "be cruel to animal week" on SNL) and just before I pulled the trigger my finger hit a button which caused the barrell to open and a bullet flew out.
