Any 2+2er\'s play at the Seminole or Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida?
 

Just wondering if any other 2+2er's play there. I play there usually every weekend (except when we have a home game) and it might be interesting to meet another 'comrade'.

i dont know anything about these places (im from boston) but ill be in ft lauderdale for spring break 2nd week in march. is ft l close to hollywood?

Ft Lauderdale is pretty close. Probably 20 minutes, if there is no traffic.

I play their SNGs from time to time. Usually $140 when I get the itch to play live. That game is very soft.

Why do you play $140? From my understanding that game is a $115+25. Isn't a 20% rake near unbeatable? Plus you're giving tips to dealers who'll scowl at you when you give $5.

Why not play the $250? Which are 225+25 from what I've been told. How much harder is the 250s from the 140s?

Because I blow all my money on stupid stuff. :-) So I'll play the $140 and then the novelty wears off and I've got a huge headache from all the smoke and I go back home and play online.

I used to play there before I realized the rake is unbeatable, and I don't really have time to go play for fun. The MTTs are decent, but the levels are too short. I stay far, far away. I live in Lauderdale, and the Hard Rock is probably 15 minutes from downtown/the airport.

And yes, any medium stakes cash home games, pm me if you know of any. Thanks.

My buddy is running 10-30 man NL Tourneys every Sat night. $100 buyin. He lives near coral springs. If your interested PM me. They are a great group of guys and the game is very friendly.

I also am interested in a NL cash game if anyone comes across one.
