everyone has done this. i think i've even done this onetime when he was at a 5/10 table. so standard.

Ok, Im not sure why nobody gets this but you arent grimstarring him.

Not only did you both play the button once, making it fair but you also made a -ev play in the BB which should give him money in the long run.

Grimming is when you are already sitting at the table and just play the button and then leave, basically the scummiest thing you can ever do in these games.

He hit n ran me at 10 20 HU on FT yest as well. After hitting his gutshot vs my top 2 (all in flop obv) after 5 mn of play.
