AA gets 4-bet pre-flop, flat call or shove? 100bb deep

Villain is 20/14/2.0

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $99.40
BB: $232.10
UTG: $190.40
Hero (CO): $197.00
BTN: $161.50

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG raises to $7.00, Hero raises to $27.00, 3 folds, UTG raises to $65.00, Hero raises all-in to $197.00, UTG folds
Uncalled bet of $132.00 returned to Hero

Pot Size: $133.00

I opted to shove here but really think I made villain fold KK here. Villain put in $65 out of his $200 stack preflop and folded. Should I have just flat called and gotten our stacks in on the flop or just shove like I did? Thx. Gl.

Re: AA gets 4-bet pre-flop, flat call or shove? 100bb deep

kind of impossible to go wrong with AA 100bb deep in a 4-bet pot, as long as you don't fold.

Both flat calling and shoving are fine.

Re: AA gets 4-bet pre-flop, flat call or shove? 100bb deep

Shoving here would be standard, as very, very few people in 1/2 NL 4 bet to $65 of a $200 stack with any intention of folding.

To guarantee getting it all in though, 100% of the time, you could smooth here and get it all in on any flop. Just teach yourself not to be incredibly sick when the flop is KQ9 all spades.

why can't people just follow the rules and post where they are supposed to post? i am not trying to be a d#ck, but I think it is pretty irritating with those who do not care about this

Yeah, he ignores the simple rules and i'm the one who makes 2+2 a "less valuable resource"...

I think the point is that the time spent blasting the guy is the same as the time to give an informative reply, so why the former over the latter? Simply say that he should shove b/c his opponent is snap calling 9x/10, and then move on to another post.
