Magic Mushrooms
 

Came up on some supposedly really strong shrooms and am going to take them in the days to come. Only taken them a few other times before and I can truly say they are my favorite drug on the planet. Anyone else taken them and if so post a story of what your experience was like. Also if you have any suggestions on fun or cool things to do while on them please let me know as I will have to try it out.

You should totally go to mcdonald's, get a shake, come home, sit on couch with tv volume on low, eat em, drink shake, trip balls, take nap, wake up at 4 in the morning, think "huh", go back to sleep, wake up, try to push your brain into the trip's space again, give up, feel like buying more shrooms.

Cause that's pretty much gonna be the thing.

I once spent a day wandering around Amsterdam tripping. My friends (who were merely higher than Jesus) were vaguely looking out for my safety but kept losing me when I went wandering off, following sights and sounds. Also, somewhere in there I was convinced that the helicoptor from posters for the musical Miss Saigon was coming down from the sky and shooting at me. Also, and I cannot stress this enough, roulette goes from incredibly [censored] to just straight up incredible.

uncontrollable laughter watching the simpsons in a hotel room. don't remember anything about the other times...going camping next weekend and going to be doing a real small dose, probably just stare at trees and the water while listening to some music.

Did them once in Negril, Jamaica. That will be the last time I ever do them. No problem with dabbling with drugs, but hallucinogens are just not my thing.

I went to a Ziggy Marley concert after having ingested some very strong mushroom tea. It was kind of an interesting experience, but I did not like the loss of control over my own behavior that I felt.

If I am going to take drugs, I prefer drugs that enhance your experience via euphoria (coke, ecstasy), rather than drugs that completely distort your mind and personality to bizarre levels, and don't offer much in the way of euphoria.

find ways to stimulate your senses

I had a GREAT time looking at expressionistic artwork and looking around outside, finding patterns in everything

also, CHOCOLATE, the quality kind that is thick and creamy, your mouth will feel like it's glued together, so much fun

I once threatened a dude with a trip to a hospital when he told me he would slip me shrooms or LSD some time without my knowing.

I never varied off the weed. Maybe that makes me a tool, but oh well...

I had family members that sold these wonderful veggies back in the day and me and my friends would just trip day after day and it is tons of fun. One thing I regret is never having any fireworks to play with cuz as of yesterday I have a crapload in my bedroom and op really makes me wanna go find some shrooms right now.

Weird sidenot: last time I did some I couldnt play poker on my comp for more than 10mins at a time cuz all the mods I did to my stars tables really bug out my eyes to where I couldnt stand looking at all the colors, and this lasted for a few days, now Im scared to do them again lol

many different experiences, none that including missing an organ when i woke up though

the snot monster got hold of us a few times. 30 blokes around a pool with snot every where is not good

i wasnt crying but i coudlnt get out of fetal position really. all the ones i ate were too intense. I couldnt go out anywhere without getting killed/arrested. they turn you into a raving lunatic.

My buddy grows a [censored] ton of these and I have eaten them a few times.

I talk about it alot in the drug thread in the EL D forum. it's a good read if you are curious.

Yeah people watching can be interesting. I remember one time in college a group of 6 of us (3 guys 3 girls - so I guess it didn't look sooooo strange) just sat on a park bench and watched a bunch of kids playing on a playground. We were enthralled with the group dynamics and comletely reminiscing on our own childhoods. Very entertaining. It seemed like we sat there for hours, which means, we probably sat there for maybe 15 minutes.

all I know is I took a hit of salvia + about 3 tokes of weed, and it was the slowest time of my life.

First of all I felt my through and lungs were on fire/filled w/ acid.

Secondly the drive home (which usually takes 35 minutes) seemed like it took 6 hours. I mean I swear the music on the readio was slowed down to the point that Justin Timberlake's voice sounded like Laurence Fishbourne's

took it 2 times this summer at psytrance festivals with more extreme impressions than any other environment and it was some of the best times ive ever had, never felt like I lost control over anything either, but I suppose thats very personal.

Some people with a bad psyche or bad control during stress should really never take acid or shrooms cause things can get pretty [censored] weird at times.

Eat them with something so you are not sick. But dont eat enough that the giggles you get will make you throw up.

I get tremendous de ja vous when i take them and i laugh all night long. I also think i can hear conversations that are going on down the street which is pretty interesting. these fungi are realmin blowers.

you guys are eating weak shrooms. if you get ahold of some strong ones there is no doing anything. you just have to cope with being so insane that you cant function.

That was my experience. I was actually convinced that I wouldn't return to normal and would end up in a mental hospital. Although, getting separated from friends, ending up alone in Amsterdam at 2am, and not remembering where my hotel was probably didn't help. Acid never did that to me but I was a lot younger then.

I'll never eat another mushroom as long as I live.

Tripping is by far my favorite thing to do drug wise (besides drinking and weed). GTA while tripping made me laugh histarically.

the other day i took shrooms and watched this. wow that was amazing. the audio + visual was so perfect imo. then went outside and sat on the corner indian style with no shoes or shirt on at like 7am when everyone was going to work.

My best shroom experience was spent in Safeway (Grocery Store). Me and my buddies were going camping that night for the 4th of July weekend (several years ago) and needed to go get some rations of meat and 40oz's of Old E. Three of us were there for what seemed like forever. Just walking around looking for like 4 things and laughing our [censored] asses off. Holy [censored] that was good times.

Second best time was during a roadie to Seattle to take in the Seahawks/49ers game. Well, a 3hr car ride, Half a 5th of Henny, a couple blunts and some shrooms and I don't remember that game for [censored]. I can't tell you who won or loss. I can tell you about the fight we got into on the way out of the traffic jam when some [censored] d-bag decided it would be cool to throw a bottle at my buddies car... but that is a different story.

I cant physically eat or drink when I am tripping hard. I tried once so I could try to come down. I couldnt swallow.

Dear Dr. OOT,

I have some 2 or 3 year old shrooms that are sealed up in a vacuum pack bag. The vacuum seems to be still intact so the seal is fine. Any ideas of these things will kill me or make me violently ill?

Just make sure you grind em up or or make em into tea. Those [censored] things make me wanna heave trying to eat them normally.
