Here's a little script I created to help in the SAGE stage of a HeadsUp SNG.

forgive my ignorance, but how the hell do you get it to work?

Start up the script. Then, whenever you need a calculation, hit F12 (or another key, you can assign it in the script), and fill out the fields.

wow it does it all, if you dont put the s it assumes offsuit. This is great.

hmm, but I guess it doesnt work above an R of 7. I typed in AA at an R of 9 and it said fold.

According to SAGE you should not push blindly then. If you have a stack that big a 'normal' play would be better.

And calling an allin with AA (preflop) is +EV, when you're in the SAGE stage or not.

It should work for pairs... What input did you use, and what PowerIndex did the script return?

oh i guess it does work, I'm just not familiar with sage, a little different than SC rankings, I would think r8 with 99 would be a push.

SAGE only gives out ranges for ratio's 7 or lower.

How can you edit the script to not close the window after every calculation? I want it to remain open. I tried removing this line from the script:

GuiClose:

but it didn't do anything. Clues?

I'll put up a new version later today (my own version doesn't close after the calculation, but I can't access it from work).

I uploaded version 1.1 to the Wiki (see OP for link).

Changes:
<ul type="square">[*]The ratio, Power Index and SAGE recommendation are calculated 'live' as soon as you input values[*]The window doesn't close anymore after the calculation is done.[/list]

I just modified it to say "NA" then ratio &gt; 7 so I don't fold my aces by mistake [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
