low limit in vegas
 

hey we are in vegas on a small bankroll, want to just go out and have a good time in small limit games or maybe a real small blind nl game any suggestions?

How much money for br? Check the past threads. Many rooms have 2/4 or 3/6 limit they almost all have 1/2 nl. try using google.

Not sure, but I suspect some of the near-strip places have 1/2 limit. Not sure how you plan to beat the rake but if you want to play that low... sure you can find it.

You suspect incorrect. 2/4 limit is the lowest game in town except when the Excalibur would run a training game, turn it into a 1/2 limit for 1 hour then up it to 2/4. Not sure if this still runs though.

You can find 2/4 most anywhere. As for baby no limit, your best bet is probably the $100 buy-in 1/2 at the Luxor. Or you can buy in short at any 1/2 game.

Best low-NL game is at the Luxor, although 1/2 NL is spread most anywhere. There are also many rooms that spread 2/4 and a wierd 4/8 with 1/2 miniblinds.

I have never been there, but pretty sure that Stratosphere advertizes games lower than 2/4 limit. If I remember correctly I have seen them advertise 1/2 and even something lower, like .25-1 spread limit or something like that.

For low-limit NL the Stratasphere was advertising a $40 min and max buy-in game. I think the blinds were 1/2.

2/4 limit is available almost anywhere.

The basic rule of thumb is that there are no chips lower than $1 in Vegas. So the lowest games in NL and Limit will have $1/$2 blinds (which is called 2/4 for limit and 1/2 for NL).

There is also an interesting game at O'Shea's called 1-5 spread limit with $1/$2 blinds and max bet of $5 at any time.

If you have any holdem capability at all, you can bring $100 to a 2/4 limit game and go for hours.

If you want to play in NL tourneys whether SnG or MTT, be very careful about the blind structure. Some of these games are very fast and you can burn through your bankroll.

I just got back from a weekend trip and played this game at O'Shea's every morning (since I was up at dawn because of the time difference). It was a lot of fun.

When I played (7-10AM), there were only 4-6 players at the table. There was a single $1 blind.

Yes, I forgot that part. The $1 BB essentially makes this spread limit game the lowest stakes game you can find on the strip. And, it's usually lots of fun with all kinds of touristas.
